Communication method and communication apparatus
The present disclosure provides a communication method, including: receiving a Doppler parameter; and determining a time compensation amount for a signal based on the Doppler parameter. When the method is performed by a terminal device, the terminal device can receive the Doppler parameter from a satellite or a satellite measurement and control center. When the method is performed by a satellite, the satellite can receive the Doppler parameter from a satellite measurement and control center. Therefore, the apparatus performing the method does not need to calculate the Doppler parameter locally, thereby reducing the burden on the apparatus.
Frequency capacity fill rate analyzing system and method of automatically analyzing the frequency capacity fill rate of wireless communication links
A frequency capacity fill rate analyzing system for analyzing the frequency capacity fill rate of wireless communication links, in particular satellite communication links, includes at least one transmitter and at least one receiver between which the communication link is established, and a spectrum analyzer associated to the at least one receiver. The spectrum analyzer is connected to a central controlling device that is provided with a data processing unit on which an analysis task management software is running, and which is connected to a database in which technical parameters of the communication link are stored. The data processing unit is configured such that the spectrum analyzer automatically analyzes the frequency capacity fill rate of radio frequency signals transmitted via the communication link on the basis of an analysis task obtained from the central controlling device.

Methods and systems for communicating a message through a communication network are provided. A method for transmitting a message through a communication network may include: partitioning the message into at least two parts; generating at least two bit sequences each of which carries a corresponding part of the message; modulating the at least two bit sequences to form a modulated signal frame which includes at least two modulated parts corresponding to the at least two bit sequences, respectively, where the at least two modulated parts of the modulated signal frame have different power levels; and transmitting the modulated signal frame through the communication network.

A specialized focal plane array (FPA) having a plurality of optical detectors is utilized, where one or more optical detectors are suppressed such that data is not allowed to be output from the one or more suppressed optical detectors, and only a significantly smaller number or subset of optical detectors receiving optical beams are allowed to output data. In this way, the rate at which data is to be output by an adaptive communications FPA (ACFPA) can be significantly reduced.

In one embodiment, a method for monitoring a structure includes associating a passive sensor with the structure, the sensor being configured to measure a physical parameter of the structure that is indicative of the structure's condition, associating a dual-channel transceiver with the structure, the transceiver having a sensing repeater that operates on a first channel and a reference repeater that operates on a second channel, wherein the sensing repeater is connected to the passive sensor, receiving with a receive antenna of the reference repeater an interrogation signal transmitted from an interrogation device, multiplying a frequency of the received interrogation signal with the reference repeater to generate a reference response signal having a multiplied frequency, and transmitting the reference response signal with the reference repeater to the interrogation device.

Systems and methods to communicate data between devices of an electric power delivery system
A wireless radio repeater includes an antenna configured to receive a message associated with an electric power delivery system. The wireless radio repeater also includes circuitry configured to receive electrical measurement data, identify a condition of the electric power delivery system based on the electrical measurement data, and cause the antenna to re-transmit the message received via the antenna in response to identifying the condition based on the electrical measurement data.
