METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WIRELESS VEHICLE COMMUNICATION
The present application generally relates to an apparatus for communicating between a user device and a vehicle infotainment system. In particular, the system includes a near field antenna fabricated from a wire wrapped ferrite core located along an edge of a video display unit under trim piece surrounding the video display.
RADIO FREQUENCY SETTING SYSTEM AND MOBILE TERMINAL
A radio frequency (RF) setting system includes an RF recognition reader configured to recognize an external near field communication (NFC) reader, an RF update controller configured to acquire a default setting value from among a plurality of setting values stored in a memory in response to the recognition of the external NFC reader, and an RF setting value specification module configured to set the default setting value as an RF setting value. When a connection for NFC is not established to the external NFC reader within a predetermined amount of time, the RF recognition reader is further configured to recognize that the connection for NFC fails, and the RF update controller is further configured to sequentially update the RF setting value with each of the plurality of setting values excluding the default setting value until the connection for NFC is successfully established to the external NFC reader.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WIRELESS VEHICLE COMMUNICATION
The present application generally relates to an apparatus for communicating between a user device and a vehicle infotainment system. In particular, the system includes a near field antenna with near transparent conductors applied to a video display image such that the near field antenna is constructed from nearly transparent or color matched conductors and wherein the antenna is applied to the video display surface.
Method of monitoring the level of power transmitted by a contactless communication device and corresponding contactless communication device
In some embodiments, a contactless communication device includes an antenna, and a driving stage having a power supply terminal configured to receive a power supply voltage, where the driving stage is configured to deliver a current to the antenna. The device further includes a monitoring circuit configured to monitor the power transmitted by the antenna. The monitoring circuit is configured, in the presence of a request for a reduction in a current level of transmitted power, to reduce the power supply voltage of the driving stage down to a target value corresponding to a new level of the transmitted power less than the current level.
Switchable, oscillating near-field and far-field antenna
Disclosed is a system and method of a switchable, oscillating near-field and far-field antenna that may be used in access control systems. A controller is coupled to a transceiver, wherein the transceiver comprises an antenna module that includes both a near-field antenna and a far-field antenna. The near-field antenna is a subset of the far-field antenna, and the controller is adapted to cause the antenna module to oscillate between a near-field configuration and a far-field configuration while, for example, scanning an RFID tag of a wireless asset and receiving one or more return signals from the RFID tag, in order to determine a location of the wireless asset based on the one or more return signals.
TRANSACTION-SPECIFIC CUSTOMER SURVEY SYSTEM
Provided are a method and system for automatically generating context-based survey questions predicated on the customers' actual purchase experience with the merchant, thus eliminating for the customer the need to respond to obvious, redundant, and even irrelevant questions, and providing to the merchant customer feedback directly bound to the actual purchase event and correlating data. Purchase information is stored at the time of purchase and the customer is given an identifier for the purchase. Then, at the customer's convenience, either at the point of sale or through a networked computer, the customer can provide responses to questions that are selectively and automatically generated based on the items purchased, or other definable attributes associated with the sale, and based upon configurable preferences of the merchant. Survey questions are displayed and feedback responses are stored, analyzed and associated with purchase information in real time.
METHOD, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR DETECTION OF SECURELY FASTENED SEAT BELTS
An electronic tag programmed with an identification in a seat belt assembly is identified by reading the programmed identification via an electronic device embedded in a seat. In response to identifying the electronic tag, a determination is made that an occupant has not fastened a seat belt of the seat belt assembly to secure the occupant in the seat.
Device and method for performing communication
An electronic device includes a first antenna pattern for a first communication network and a first communication circuit configured to perform communication through the first antenna pattern. The electronic device also includes an electrical component situated at an upper part of the electronic device and a circuit board that is attached to a rear surface of the electrical component. The first antenna pattern is arranged on the circuit board facing toward a rear surface of the electronic device.
Electronic circuit board
An electronic circuit board includes an antenna pattern for wireless communication and an electrostatic removing member. The antenna pattern is arranged on a first surface of the electronic circuit board, the electrostatic removing member is arranged on a second surface of the electronic circuit board, the second surface being on a side opposite to the first surface, and the electronic circuit board is to be incorporated in a console unit of a printing apparatus.
Computing device with NFC and active load modulation for mass transit ticketing
An RFID card includes a smartcard controller that receives power from a host device. The RFID card also includes a small inductive device capable of inductive coupling with an RFID reader. The small inductive device is small enough to fit in the form factor of a memory card or SIM card. Enhancement circuits enhance the usable read and write distance of the RFID card.
