NFC mobile device transactions with a digital artifact
A method and system for receiving digital artifacts from a management server. The method includes sending a request for a digital artifact from a mobile application to the management server for display within a specific mobile application generated screen, receiving the digital artifact from the management server, and displaying the digital artifact with the specific mobile application generated screen.
Method, system, and computer program product for detection of securely fastened seat belts
An electronic tag programmed with an identification in a seat belt assembly is identified by reading the programmed identification via an electronic device embedded in a seat. In response to identifying the electronic tag, a determination is made that an occupant has not fastened a seat belt of the seat belt assembly to secure the occupant in the seat.
Method, Device, and System for Adjusting Packet Length in Near Field Communication
A method includes determining, by an NFCC of a first NFC device, whether the NFCC is responsible for determining a maximum length value of data packets transmitted in subsequent communication. The method further includes sending a first request comprising a first length value to a second NFC device when the NFCC is responsible for determining the maximum length value. The first request further includes a first DID. The method further includes receiving a first response that is returned by the second NFC device for the first request and that comprises a second DID. The method further includes using the first length value as the maximum length value of the data packets transmitted in the subsequent communication when the first DID is the same as the second DID.
Electronic Device With Near-Field Antenna Operating Through Display
An electronic device may have a display. A display cover layer and a transparent inner display member may overlap a display pixel layer. The display pixel layer may have an array of display pixels for displaying images for a user. A touch sensor layer may be interposed between the display pixel layer and the transparent display member. A ferromagnetic shielding layer may be mounted below the display pixel layer. A flexible printed circuit containing coils of metal signal lines that form a near-field communications loop antenna may be interposed between the ferromagnetic shielding layer and the display pixel layer. A non-near-field antenna such as an inverted-F antenna may have a resonating element mounted on an inner surface of the display cover layer. The resonating element may be interposed between the transparent display member and the display cover layer.
ELECTRONIC TAG
An electronic tag (1) with a Bluetooth (BT) transmitter and a proximity sensor is configured to automatically, when an object (30) enters a detection zone of the proximity sensor, switch from a default sleep mode, in which the BT transmitter is deactivated, to an active mode in which the BT transmitter transmits a data package including an identifier of the electronic tag (1). A data collection system may include system devices (100) provided with a respective electronic tag (1) that stores a unique identifier of the system device (100), and a computer system (50) that receives the identifier from a portable electronic device (30) configured to intercept data packets from electronic tags (1). The system devices (100) may comprise exercise devices, and the data collection system may be a workout system that allows users of the exercise devices to automatically track their workout.
Data transmission method and apparatus
A data transmission method is performed by at least one processor of a terminal, and includes displaying one or more messages, each of the one or more messages including a data file, based on a touch and hold input on one of the one or more messages, displaying an option for displaying one or more icons respectively indicating one or more hardware devices capable of executing the data file of the one of the one or more messages, based on a touch input on the option, displaying the one or more icons respectively indicating the one or more hardware devices, and based on a touch input on one of the one or more icons indicating one of the one or more hardware devices, sending, to the one of the one or more hardware devices, the data file of the one of the one or more messages.
Information processing device and recording medium
A process is performed by linking communication information acquired by Near field radio communication from a client device with position information of the client device. An information processing device (1) includes an association unit (211) configured to: acquire via an NFC unit (112) configured to perform Near field radio communication, terminal information held by an NFC terminal; acquire touch information including information on a position on the touch panel (111), the NFC terminal coming into contact with the position; and associate the terminal information and the touch information and store a result of the association.
Antenna device for short-range applications and use of an antenna device of this type
The invention relates to an antenna device (10) for short-range applications, e.g., RFID, comprising: a bipolar coaxial conductor structure (12) with an internal conductor (14) and an external conductor (16); an antenna signal terminal (22, 24) at a first end of the coaxial conductor structure (12) which is formed by a terminal contact (22) on the internal conductor (14) and a terminal contact (24) on the external conductor (16) to feed in an antenna transmitted signal and feed out an antenna received signal; a terminating impedance (Zterm) at a second end of the coaxial conductor structure (12), which is formed by a dipole (Z) connected to the internal conductor (14) at a terminal contact (28) and to the external conductor (16) at a terminal contact (30), wherein the dipole (Z) comprises at least one capacitor (C) and/or at least one inductance (L), such that when transmitting, a HF alternating current propagating through the internal conductor (14) and reaching the second end of the coaxial conductor structure (12) is coupled with the outside of the external conductor (16) at the second end of the coaxial conductor structure (12). The device (10) according to the invention advantageously has a relatively simple construction, with which a relatively wideband electomagnetic transmission (transmitting and/or receiving) of energy and/or information can be carried out advantageously.
