Frequency correction in a multi-carrier communication system
Methods and systems for correction of frequency errors in multi-carrier communication systems. The composite frequency error associated with the downlink signals are used to infer or derive the composite frequency error associated with the uplink signals, which are used to pre-compensate the uplink signals. Special signal components are transmitted by multiple base stations to facilitate frequency-error estimation and other system control functionalities at a mobile device. The mobile device carries out temporal, spatial, or spatial-temporal processing of the composite frequency errors associated with one or more base stations to determine the clock frequency error and the Doppler shift with respect to its serving base station.

RF switch with integrated tuning
Methods and devices are described for reducing receiver complexity in an RF front-end stage. In one exemplary implementation, a switch is used to connect a plurality of receive paths to a single input amplifier of a transceiver unit used the RF front-end stage. In another exemplary implementation, the switch has a tunable network which can be tuned with respect to various frequencies of operation of the receive path and associated RF signal.

Method and apparatus for forming Wi-Fi P2P group using Wi-Fi direct
Provided is a method for forming a Wi-Fi Peer-to-Peer (P2P) group using Wi-Fi Direct. The method includes acquiring device information of other P2P device corresponding to a connection target by P2P devices that will form a Wi-Fi P2P group; checking a type of the other P2P devices based on the acquired device information; adjusting an intent value of a P2P device depending on the checked type of the other P2P devices; and forming a Wi-Fi P2P group based on the adjusted intent values of the P2P devices.
Echo cancellation method and transceiver
An echo cancellation method and a transceiver to reduce dependence of a system on an enob of a DAC, and improve performance of echo cancellation. The transceiver includes an echo cancellation apparatus, a transmit link, a receive link, and a hybrid circuit. The transmit link and the receive link are coupled to a transmission line by using the hybrid circuit. The echo cancellation apparatus includes a first signal converter, a slicer, a first subtractor, a second digital-to-analog converter, a second subtractor, and a third subtractor.

Device to-device communication
An apparatus is provided for a device-to-device, D2D, communication enabled user equipment, UE, comprising a processing section to determine, based on a signal received from another UE, a channel condition between the UE and the another UE; the UE to report the determined channel condition to an evolved Node B, eNB. The processing section is to initiate D2D communication based on a communication from the eNB, received in response to the report. Also, an apparatus is provided for a network element, comprising An input to receive a describing a channel condition between a first UE and a second UE; a processor to determine, based on the channel condition, whether or not D2D communication between the first UE and the second UE is to be enabled; and an output to output a result of the determination when the processor determines D2D communication is to be enabled. Related methods are also provided.

Method and apparatus for eliminating same-frequency and adjacent-frequency interference in analog domain
A method and device for eliminating co-frequency and adjacent frequency interference in an analog domain, in the case that a wireless communication device with a receiving antenna, that is, a transmitting point of a master device, detects and judges the presence of co-frequency and/or adjacent frequency interference signal sources on site, collects the reference signals of the same frequency and/or adjacent frequency from the interference signal sources by means of cable direct connection or adding an antenna, and obtains the analog signals of the same frequency and/or adjacent frequency interference after interference signal recovery processing, then, in the analog domain, the received signal received by the receiving antenna of the master device is directly subtracted from the interference analog signal of the same frequency and/or adjacent frequency to complete the analog interference cancellation process, so as to obtain the interference canceled RF analog signal.
