A method for a channel state information (CSI) feedback comprises receiving CSI feedback configuration information for the CSI feedback including a spatial channel information indicator based on a linear combination (LC) codebook, wherein the spatial channel information comprises at least one of a downlink channel matrix, a covariance matrix of the downlink channel matrix, or at least one eigenvector of the covariance matrix of the downlink channel matrix; deriving the spatial channel information indicator using the LC codebook that indicates a weighted linear combination of a plurality of basis vectors or a plurality of basis matrices as a representation of at least one of a downlink channel matrix, a covariance matrix of the downlink channel matrix, or at least one eigenvector of the covariance matrix of the downlink channel matrix; and transmitting over an uplink channel, the CSI feedback including the spatial channel information indicator.

Configuration of sounding reference signal resource for multi-panel uplink transmission

A base station may determine co-phase information and uplink precoding information (e.g., user equipment (UE) precoder information) based on one or more received sounding reference signals (SRSs) from a UE. The UE may adjust precoders or co-phase for different SRS transmissions over the one or more configured SRS resources. As such, the base station may indicate either co-phase information or uplink precoding information via an SRS resource indicator (SRI), and may transmit an explicit indication of the remaining co-phase information or uplink precoding information in addition to the SRI. In other examples (e.g., when only a single SRS resource is configured), the base station may transmit an index corresponding to uplink precoding information, as well as a separate indication of co-phase information. In some cases, a port selection pattern may be included with an explicit indication, indicating a selection of antenna port indices the precoder or co-phase index applies to.

The shaped projected signal is the projected signal received by the receiver of the second communication device and filtered by a filter of the second communication device. Embodiments of this application provide a precoding matrix indication method, a communications apparatus, and a storage medium. A precoding matrix of each of K frequency-domain units satisfies W=W.sub.1×W.sub.2, and elements in W.sub.2 in the K frequency-domain units are represented by P elements that are relatively few. A terminal device reports third indication information, where the third indication information includes first indication information and the second indication information, and the first indication information and the second indication information are independently encoded. The first indication information is used to indicate the P elements, and the second indication information is used to indicate P. Therefore, the terminal device can adjust a quantity of information bits of the second indication information based on a channel condition change, thereby improving precoding matrix reporting efficiency.

A method for transmitting feedback information includes receiving, by a terminal device, trigger signaling used for triggering transmission of feedback information for a plurality of downlink channel groups by the terminal device, wherein the plurality of downlink channel groups comprise a first downlink channel group and a second downlink channel group, and a group number of the first downlink channel group is smaller than a group number of the second downlink channel group; and generating, by the terminal device based on the trigger signaling, a feedback codebook comprising the feedback information for the plurality of downlink channel groups, wherein the feedback information corresponding to the second downlink channel group is appended to the feedback information corresponding to the first downlink channel group in the feedback codebook.
