The electronic device includes a memory stored with information related to a relay device, a first communication interface comprising circuity, a second communication interface comprising circuitry, and a processor configured to control the first communication interface to communicate with the relay device, control, based on a signal notifying communication connection failure between an external device and the relay device being received from the external device through the second communication interface, the second communication interface to transmit a signal requesting entry into a specific communication mode to the external device, and transmit, based on the external device being identified as entering the communication mode, information related to the stored relay device to the external device through the specific communication mode.

In some embodiments the slave acts as a carrier frequency translator between the master and an external wireless device, where it communicates with the external device using a first frequency and communicates with the master using a second frequency which is different from the first frequency. In another embodiment the slave has most or all the physical layer to do the digital coding, digital modulation, data framing, data formatting and data packetization for communicating with an external device, in which case digital coding and digital modulation is distributed between the master and the slave.

The repeater can be further configured to reduce or bypass a downlink repeater gain level when the downlink signal strength indicator value is greater than the threshold value.

The device for repeating the Wi-Fi signal is configured to: receive, via a wired connection connected to a device for extending a Wi-Fi access point, a digital signal resulting from the analogue-digital conversion of an analogue signal from a power division of a signal intended to be transmitted by the Wi-Fi access point around a predetermined carrier frequency so as to deliver a first Wi-Fi signal; convert the digital signal received via the wired connection into an analogue signal and transmit the analogue signal around the predetermined carrier frequency, so as to deliver a second Wi-Fi signal substantially identical to the first Wi-Fi signal.

DISTRIBUTED RELAY

This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to a distributed relay. The distributed relay may utilize beamforming and/or a specific physical arrangement of transmit and receive antennas to ensure a high isolation between antennas. The distributed relay may further facilitate the concurrent operation of two different intermediate frequency (IF) chains to support communications between a network entity and user device, receiving and transmitting data on each of the two IF chains independently of one another.

A domestic appliance, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, a user input positioned on an exterior of the cabinet, and a controller configured to initiate a commissioning operation. The commissioning operation may include opening a connection channel at a wireless access point on the domestic appliance according to a predetermined initial timeout period. The commissioning operation may further include establishing communication between a remote user interface device and the wireless access point via the open connection channel within the predetermined initial timeout period. The commissioning operation may still further include, in response to establishing communication, maintaining the connection channel between the user device and the wireless access point according to a predetermined extended timeout period.

Method for performing RRC connection procedure in wireless communication system and apparatus therefor

A method of performing a radio resource control (RRC) connection procedure of a relay user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes, if a RRC connection procedure of a remote UE associated with the relay UE is triggered, receiving, from the remote UE, a first RRC establishment cause for a RRC connection of the remote UE; and if a RRC connection request of the relay UE is not allowed, transmitting, to a base station, a first RRC connection request including the first RRC establishment cause of the remote UE.
