Low power system and method for DSL lines
The transmit power level of a transceiver coupled to a digital subscriber line (DSL) line is reduced from a first transmit power level sufficient for the transceiver to continuously transmit data on the DSL line at a first bit rate to a second transmit power level below the first transmit power level sufficient for the transceiver to continuously transmit data on the DSL line at a second bit rate that is lower than the first bit rate. The reduction in transmit power is limited so that the change does not induce time-varying crosstalk sufficient to destabilize a nearby DSL line. While the transmit power level of the transceiver is reduced to the second transmit power level, the transceiver is suspended from transmitting data on the DSL line for repeated periods of time. Suspending the data transmission is controlled to avoid further time-varying crosstalk sufficient to destabilize the nearby DSL line.
Mitigating satellite interference
Mitigation of satellite interference is contemplated. The mitigation may include processing satellite transmissions to remove interferences based on an amount of signal overlap, such as to facilitate mitigating interferences resulting from satellite spacing and/or ground antenna dish size.
POWER SUPPLY NOISE SUPPRESSOR
A power supply noise suppressor includes a housing configured to be fastened or adhered to a customer-premises equipment (CPE) device. A first connector is configured to connect to a cable. A second connector is configured connect to the CPE device. A circuit is positioned at least partially within the housing and connected to the first and second connectors. The circuit is configured to reduce an amount of a power supply switch noise that is transmitted in an upstream direction from the CPE device to the cable.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
An electronic apparatus includes: a chassis in which a display device is housed; a noise eliminating layer that is positioned between the chassis and the display device, and eliminates noise emitted from the display device; and an antenna for wireless communication that is housed in the chassis, in which the noise eliminating layer has a main body area and an auxiliary antenna area that extends from the main body area to the antenna and assists wireless communication of the antenna, and a portion of the auxiliary antenna area between one end on the side of the antenna and the other end on the side opposite to the one end is spaced apart from the main body area.
Timing synchronization of self-powered power sensors and a central controller collecting samples therefrom
A system and method for the synchronization of a central controller wirelessly for determining values of electrical parameters. The method includes sampling an electrical signal via at least one self-powered power sensor (SPPS); estimating, via the at least one SPPS, a time-stamp based on the sampled electrical signal; estimating, via the at least one SPPS, at least a first electrical parameter; generating a preamble of a packet; generating a synchronization information for a synchronization field of the packet; transmitting the packet components wirelessly; determining a time offset value for the packet based on the time-stamp and the transmission time-stamp of the synchronization information; and transmitting the time offset value by appending the time offset value to the packet, wherein the time offset value is used for determining at least a second electrical parameter.
Communicating method between master communication device and slave communication device for controlling cripper-unit in hoist device of rail car
A communicating method between a master and a slave connected through a belt connected to a gripper-unit in a hoist device of a rail car, and to technology in which the master and the slave perform power line communication through a power supply line for supplying power formed in a belt, thereby more stably transmitting and receiving signals in a simple system structure.
Transceiver for communication and method for controlling communication
An example embodiment provides a transceiver for communication includes a timing determiner that detects a fall from high level to low level of a bus signal generated by pulse width modulation of a clock signal and input from a communication bus; a transmission data signal delay adjuster that determines a second timing having a predetermined time difference from a first timing, the bus signal rising from the low level to the high level at the first timing; an encoder that extends a low level of the bus signal by changing a data signal to be output to the communication bus from high level to low level; and a timing adjustment circuit that changes the data signal to the low level at the second timing.
Telecoil hum filter
A system and/or method is provided for enhanced listening of audio signals acquired via a telecoil by performing hum filtering. The system may include a telecoil and a telecoil hum filter. The telecoil hum filter may include a comb notch filter. The comb notch filter may include a delay module and a comb notch filter summing module. The telecoil may be operable to receive a magnetic signal and convert the magnetic signal to an input audio signal. The delay module of the comb notch filter may be configured to generate a delayed signal by applying a delay to the input audio signal. The delay may be based on a fundamental hum frequency. The comb notch filter summing module may be configured to generate a comb notch filter output signal by adding the input audio signal and the delay signal.
Semiconductor integrated circuit, semiconductor system, and electric source voltage control method
A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a voltage comparison circuit and a control circuit. The voltage comparison circuit compares a detection voltage with a reference voltage. The detection voltage is a detected result of an electric source voltage supplied from an electric source supply device supplying the electric source voltage. The reference voltage is set to be lower than a standard voltage used in stabilization control that the electric source supply device performs for stabilizing the electric source voltage. The control circuit performs control of compensating a voltage drop of the electric source voltage when the detection voltage is lower than the reference voltage based on a result of comparison by the voltage comparison circuit.
Mitigating inter-device interference using cloud-based policy
An inter-device interference mitigation system, method, and device. The device includes a first transceiver, a second transceiver, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is configured to receive an interference policy and receive information from a second electronic communications device to determine an interference potential. The electronic processor compares the interference potential to a predetermined interference threshold. When the interference potential exceeds the predetermined interference threshold, the electronic processor performs at least one action selected from the group consisting of adjusting a power output of the first transceiver, generating a user notice including instructions to move or adjust an operation of either one or both of the electronic communications device and the second electronic communications device, affecting an operation of an application present on either one or both of the electronic communications devices, and modifying a transmission of either one or both of the electronic communications devices.
