Mobile terminal having an antenna
A mobile terminal, comprises: a case including a conductive metal part; a main board mounted inside the case and having a power supply part and a ground surface; a first antenna radiator disposed so as to be spaced from the power supply part to the first antenna radiator; a power supply line for electrically connecting the power supply part to the first antenna radiator and ground line for electrically connecting the ground surface to the metal part and the first antenna radiator, thereby preventing a decrease in the performance of an antenna since the formation of an electromagnetic field between the case of a metallic material and the main board can be minimized even if the metallic material is used for the case.
Dynamically mitigating external interference in multi-band antenna systems
A device, method, and computer-readable medium are provided for mitigating signal interference at a base station. Signal interference can be generated from subcomponent levels at a base station (e.g., electronic antenna motors) due to non-optimal designs or electric ground interferences. Generally, when power is provided to such subcomponent(s), a noise or harmonic can be inadvertently generated, falling into one of the operating bands of the base station, and negatively impacting system performance. As such, embodiments can be configured to dynamically ascertain a noise baseline associated with the base station, determine that one or more of the subcomponents are at fault for interfering with the base station operating band(s), and mitigate the interfering signal for a period that least impacts system performance.
MOVABLE BARRIER OPERATOR WITH SIGNAL TRANSLATION MODULE
The present invention is generally a movable barrier system that employs a movable barrier operator with a signal translation module, which enhances the quality of communications between wired components of a movable barrier system, including long distance wired communications between controllers and position sensors. In an exemplary embodiment, position sensors comprising encoders are coupled to translation module for reducing electromagnetic interference or noise from various components that may otherwise interfere with the communication; error detection and error correction means may be further implemented to facilitate diagnostic monitoring of the system from a monitoring device.
AGGREGATE SIGNAL AMPLIFICATION DEVICE AND METHOD
A surface acoustic wave (SAW) filter that receives an aggregate circuit and outputs two or more sub-signals on outputs each of a different frequency band. The sub-signals are amplified by low noise amplifiers and, in one implementation, the amplified sub-signals can be summed. The outputs are connected via a switched passive network so that portions of the sub-signals on the outputs that are not in the selected frequency band are at least partially terminated.
POWER LINE COMMUNICATION METHODS AND DEVICES
A power line communication method for realizing data communication between at least one first or sending power line communication partner device and at least one second or receiving power line communication partner device. The method checks transmission conditions of a plurality of possible communication channels, thereby generating transmission condition data descriptive for the communication conditions of the respective possible communication channels. Additionally, communication conditions of the plurality of possible communication channels are selected as actual communication conditions based on the transmission condition data.
Chassis of electronic device
A chassis for an electronic device may include a first metal layer to form an inner surface of the chassis, an insulating layer on the first metal layer, and a second metal layer on the insulating layer. The second metal layer may be connected to a ground area of a circuit board to be provided in the chassis.
Apparatus and method for measuring power supply noise
Described is an apparatus which comprises: a power delivery distribution network (PDN) to provide a power supply to at least one circuit; and an on-die synchronous power supply noise injector to inject noise to the power supply on the PDN. Described is another apparatus which comprises: a PDN to provide power supply to various circuits; an on-die power supply noise (PSN) sampler to sample the power supply with an injected noise, wherein the PSN sampler to sample the power supply with at least two different clock signals; and a phase noise accumulator to randomize the periods of the at least two different clock signals.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MEDICAL DEVICES
Systems and methods for conducted communication are described. In one embodiment, a method for communicating with implantable medical devices may comprise sensing, by a first medical device, a noise signal delivered into a patient's body by a second medical device and delivering, by the first medical device, a cancelling signal into the patient's body. In at least some additional embodiments the method may further comprise, while delivering the cancelling signal into the patient's body, delivering a conducted communication signal into the patient's body for reception by a second medical device.
Narrowband analog noise cancellation
A method, including receiving an input analog signal containing noise at a specific noise frequency and digitizing the input analog signal to form a digitized signal. The method also includes recovering a first amplitude and a first phase of the noise from the digitized signal, and generating an analog correction signal at the specific noise frequency. The analog correction signal has a second amplitude equal to the first amplitude and a second phase opposite to the first phase. The method further includes summing the input analog signal with the analog correction signal to generate an output analog signal.
