Method for adjusting lo frequencies in receiver and associated receiver
09762271 · 2017-09-12 · ·

The present disclosure discloses a method for adjusting one or more LO frequencies in a receiver. The receiver performs down conversion on a received signal through one or more mixers by using the one or more LO frequencies, and outputs one or more symbols through an ADC. The method comprising the steps of: for each of the one or more LO frequencies, estimating a new LO frequency corresponding to a best signal quality of the received signal; and adjusting the LO frequency into the new LO frequency. The present disclosure also relates to a receiver for adjusting one or more LO frequencies.

Low power system and method for DSL lines

The transmit power level of a transceiver coupled to a digital subscriber line (DSL) line is reduced from a first transmit power level sufficient for the transceiver to transmit data on the DSL line at a first bit rate to a second transmit power level below the first transmit power level sufficient for the transceiver to transmit data on the DSL line at a second bit rate that is lower than the first bit rate. The reduction in transmit power is limited so that the change does not induce time-varying crosstalk sufficient to destabilize a nearby DSL line. While the transmit power level of the transceiver is reduced to the second transmit power level, the transceiver is suspended from transmitting data on the DSL line for repeated periods of time. Suspending the data transmission is controlled to avoid further time-varying crosstalk sufficient to destabilize the nearby DSL line.

Circuit providing reverse current protection for high-side driver

An electronic control unit (ECU) operates between first and second voltage rails and includes an amplifier circuit and a single current sense circuit coupled to carry a signal to a bus pin and to protect the bus pin from both a short to ground and a short to battery. The single current sense circuit includes a switch circuit that passes the signal to the bus pin and a forward current sensing circuit that provides a second current that is proportional to an output current at the bus pin. The forward current sensing circuit causes the second current to be substantially zero when voltage on the bus pin is above a given value. The single current sense circuit also includes a forward current protection circuit and a reverse current switching circuit that receives the second current and closes a connection to the second voltage when the second current is zero.

MANAGING INTERFERENCE IN COMPUTING SYSTEMS

Techniques for manging interference in computing systems are described. In operation, an electromagnetic signal experienced by the computing system is detected. A strength of the electromagnetic signal is then determined to be above a predetermined threshold. Based on the determination, a voltage swing across a driver IC of an electronic component of the computing system is increased.

FILTERING POWER LINE NOISES FROM ANALOG ELECTROPHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNALS IN REAL-TIME

A power line interference (PLI) suppression method includes receiving an input analog signal superimposed with PLI, and digitally estimating one or more harmonics of the PLI in real-time. Responsively to the one or more digitally estimated harmonics, one or more analog harmonic waveforms are outputted, that match the respective one or more harmonics of the PLI. The input analog signal and the one or more analog harmonic waveforms are received, and the superimposed PLI in the input analog signal is suppressed using the one or more analog harmonic waveforms. An analog output signal is outputted, that corresponds to the input analog signal having the suppressed PLI.

Systems and methods for reducing electrical interference in measurement-while-drilling data

Systems and methods are presented for reducing electrical interference in measurement-while-drilling (“MWD”) data. An example may include, among other features a MWD data acquisition system including an analog data reception for receiving analog MWD data, an analog-to-digital conversion circuit, at least one isolation circuit for electrically isolating the analog data reception circuit and the analog-to-digital conversion circuit from a digital data transmission circuit. In some embodiments, a power isolation circuit may electrically isolate an analog section power domain from a digital section power domain. The isolation techniques may improve the quality of the analog signal received.

The present invention relates to the connection of a charging circuit for charging an electrical energy accumulator by means of a single-phase or multi-phase electrical alternating voltage. To this end, a filter means for suppressing interfering signals is provided at an input before a switchover between a single-phase or multi-phase charging process. In this way, the properties, in particular the capacitive properties, of the filter means are not influenced by the circuit configuration at the switchover between single-phase or multi-phase charging.
