A wireless receiver includes a down converter module operable to deliver a signal having a signal bandwidth that changes over time, a dynamically controllable filter module having a filter bandwidth and fed by said down converter module, and a measurement module operable to at least approximately measure the signal bandwidth, said dynamically controllable filter module responsive to said measurement module to dynamically adjust the filter bandwidth to more nearly match the signal bandwidth as it changes over time, whereby output from said filter module is noise-reduced. Other wireless receivers, electronic circuits, and processes for their operation are disclosed.
SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND DEVICES FOR AUTOMATIC SIGNAL DETECTION WITH TEMPORAL FEATURE EXTRACTION WITHIN A SPECTRUM
Systems, methods and apparatus are disclosed for automatic signal detection in an RF environment. An apparatus comprises at least one receiver and at least one processor coupled with at least one memory. The apparatus is at the edge of a communication network. The apparatus sweeps and learns the RF environment in a predetermined period based on statistical learning techniques, thereby creating learning data. The apparatus forms a knowledge map based on the learning data, scrubs a real-time spectral sweep against the knowledge map, and creates impressions on the RF environment based on a machine learning algorithm. The apparatus is operable to detect at least one signal in the RF environment.

WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A method and a controller for controlling a transmitting node in a wireless telecommunications network, the wireless telecommunications network including a receiving node, wherein the transmitting node includes a plurality of antenna ports, the method including determining a count of antenna ports, being one or more of the transmitting node's plurality of antenna ports, to use in communications with the receiving node based on: a balance between a first performance metric related to a coherence interval and having a positive relationship with the count of antenna ports and a second performance metric related to the coherence interval and having a negative relationship with the count of antenna ports, and/or a measure of the coherence interval in communications with the receiving node; and causing the transmitting node to use the count of antenna ports in communications with the receiving node.
WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM WITH OBJECT DETECTION FUNCTION, OBJECT DETECTION METHOD AND BASE STATION DEVICE
Provided is a wireless communication system that detects an object inside a communication area including: a base station device; and a terminal device, in which the base station device controls a timing for transmitting a reference signal for measuring a state of a propagation path on the basis of a pilot signal included in a wireless signal received from the terminal device during wireless communication and detects an object inside the communication area on the basis of propagation state information indicating a state of the propagation path received from the terminal device during wireless sensing, and the terminal device transmits, to the base station device, propagation state information measured on the basis of a reference signal received from the base station device. It is thus possible to transmit the reference signal for measuring a state of the propagation path without degrading a throughput of wireless communication.
Proximate communication with a target device
Systems and methods may use proximate communication to retrieve information pertaining to a target device. In one example, the method may include detecting the target device within a vicinity of a user device, receiving an information request response communication including information pertaining to the target device, and receiving an operation request response communication including information pertaining to a performed operation.
