Radio station listening contour estimation
A method includes identifying, from radial contours indicating listening areas for respective radio stations, each radial contour specifying a geographic location of a respective radio station and a plurality of segments surrounding the radio station, each segment defining a radius outward from the geographic location defining a boundary of the listening area for the corresponding segment, a segment of a radial contour of a radio station currently tuned to by a radio receiver for a listener location; responsive to the listener location exceeding the radial extent from the radio station for the segment, identifying an alternate radio station available for the listener location; identifying, from the radial contours and the listener location, a segment of a radial contour of the alternate radio station; and responsive to the listener location being within a radial extent from the alternate radio station for the segment, transitioning to the alternate radio station.
Methods and apparatus to determine audio source impact on an audience of media
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to determine audio source impact on an audience of media are disclosed. A disclosed example method includes dividing monitored audio into successive audio segments including a first audio segment and a second audio segment. The example method also includes generating a first confidence value from the first audio segment and a second confidence value from the second audio segment, the first confidence value associated with a presence of a first audio source in the first audio segment, the second confidence value associated with a presence of the first audio source in the second audio segment. The example method includes determining an impact of the presence of the first audio source on audience ratings associated with the monitored audio based on the first confidence value, the first quantity of audience members, the second confidence value and the second quantity of audience members to determine.

Telecommunication network configuration from feature-based extrapolation
A processing system may obtain a feature set for segmenting households comprising subscribers of a telecommunication network into segments, the households including reporting households for which an information value regarding a feature of interest is available, and non-reporting households for which an information value regarding the feature of interest is not available. The processing system may then assign the households to segments, each segment associated with a set of information values for features of the feature set, and where for each segment, households assigned to the segment have information values that are the same for each of the features of the feature set. The processing system may also link each non-reporting household in a segment to a reporting household in the segment. The processing system may then reconfigure the telecommunication network in accordance with information values for the at least one feature of interest for the plurality of households.
Systems and methods for monitoring electronic displays
A system for monitoring displayed content, such as advertisements, has at least one sensor that is used to monitor an electronic display and provide information about the operation of the display, such as the content being displayed or whether one or more components of the display are operating correctly. The sensor is selected, positioned, and/or otherwise configured to limit the its ability to collect information in the environment surrounding the display so as to reduce concerns about the use of the sensor in a private or secure environment. The system may be used to confirm that the hardware of the display system is operating correctly and displaying the proper content at the proper times.
Content-Modification System with Broadcast Schedule Utilization Feature
In one aspect, a method includes (i) receiving query fingerprint data representing content transmitted by a content-distribution system on a channel; (ii) comparing the received query fingerprint data with multiple reference fingerprint data sets, wherein each of the multiple reference fingerprint data sets corresponds with a different respective content segment; (iii) based on the comparing, detecting a respective match between the received query fingerprint data and reference fingerprint data in each of the multiple reference fingerprint data sets; (iv) accessing broadcast-schedule data associated with the channel; (v) using the accessed broadcast-schedule data to identify which one of the different respective content segments is being transmitted by the content-distribution system on the channel, thereby identifying a corresponding upcoming content modification opportunity on the channel; and (vi) performing an action to facilitate performing a content modification operation related to the identified upcoming content-modification opportunity on the channel.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO IDENTIFY MEDIA PRESENTATIONS BY ANALYZING NETWORK TRAFFIC
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed herein to identify media presentation by analyzing network traffic. Example instructions cause a machine to generate a traffic profile to reduce a computational burden of identifying streaming media being presented on a media presentation device, the traffic profile including first network traffic data indicative of the streaming media; obtain the traffic profile and second network traffic data corresponding to the streaming media; and generate, in response to a score for the second network traffic data meeting a threshold of similarity, a network traffic analysis report identifying the streaming media being presented on the media presentation device.
