Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to determine audio source impact on an audience of media are disclosed. A disclosed example method includes dividing monitored audio into successive audio segments including a first audio segment and a second audio segment. The example method also includes generating a first confidence value from the first audio segment and a second confidence value from the second audio segment, the first confidence value associated with a presence of a first audio source in the first audio segment, the second confidence value associated with a presence of the first audio source in the second audio segment. The example method includes determining an impact of the presence of the first audio source on audience ratings associated with the monitored audio based on the first confidence value, the first quantity of audience members, the second confidence value and the second quantity of audience members to determine.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETECTION OF SIGNAL QUALITY IN BROADCAST SIGNALS
Systems, methods, and processor readable media are disclosed for detection of signal quality problems and errors in digital radio broadcast signals. First monitoring equipment is located in an over-the-air coverage area of a first radio station. Second monitoring equipment is located in an over-the-air coverage area of a second radio station. The first and second monitoring equipment are configured to receive digital radio broadcast signals from the respective first and second radio stations. A computing system is configured to receive data from the first monitoring equipment and the second monitoring equipment, the data being indicative of one or more attributes of a digital radio broadcast signal received at respective monitoring equipment. The computing system analyzes received data to detect a signal quality problem or error in the digital radio broadcast signals received at the first and second monitoring equipment.

An example apparatus disclosed herein to detect media devices presenting media comprises a cluster generator to generate a cluster of media locations from a reference population of media locations based on media identifying information received from a presentation of media at an unidentified media device at a first media location, a media device determiner to determine media devices available at the media locations in the cluster of media locations, a cluster based media device identifier to identify the unidentified media device based on the media devices available at the media locations in the cluster of media locations, and a media device report generator to generate a report on the identity of the unidentified media device.

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for media crediting and, more particularly, methods and apparatus of media device detection for minimally invasive media meters. An example apparatus disclosed herein to detect media devices presenting media comprises a cluster generator to generate a cluster of media locations from a reference population of media locations based on media identifying information received from a presentation of media at an unidentified media device at a first media location, a media device determiner to determine media devices available at the media locations in the cluster of media locations, a cluster based media device identifier to identify the unidentified media device based on the media devices available at the media locations in the cluster of media locations, and a media device report generator to generate a report on the identity of the unidentified media device.

Apparatuses, methods, and storage media for determining effectiveness of an advertisement are described. In one instance, an apparatus for determining effectiveness of an advertisement may include a digital device matching engine, communicatively coupled to the processors, to receive and process information obtained from a web site accessed by a digital device, and to match the digital device to a TV set, based at least in part on the processed information. The apparatus may further include a conversion determination engine, communicatively coupled to the processors, to determine a level of conversion associated with an advertisement rendered by a broadcasting media to the TV set, based at least in part on the matching of the digital device to the TV set. The apparatus may be configured to provide recommendations to advertisement regarding the effectiveness of their advertising campaign. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO IDENTIFY MEDIA PRESENTATIONS BY ANALYZING NETWORK TRAFFIC
Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed herein include correlating first network traffic data collected by a network meter to streaming data collected by a media presentation device meter; determining second network traffic data that pertains to streaming media streaming on a streaming device, the second network traffic data based on the first network traffic data; and generating a traffic profile based on a relationship between the second network traffic data and the streaming media streaming on a streaming device.

Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to correct misattributions of media impressions are disclosed. An example method includes obtaining first demographic-based impressions via a beacon transmitted in response to access to content by a first set of panelists, obtaining, from a database proprietor, second demographic-based impressions of the content on a second set of persons, forming a pseudo-inverse matrix determined based in part on the first impressions, and having a truncated value and a damped value to form third demographic-based impressions of the content on the second set of persons based on the second impressions, and computing at least partially corrected demographic-based impressions values by multiplying a vector of database proprietor impression data by the pseudo-inverse matrix.

Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to correct misattributions of media impressions are disclosed. A reception apparatus includes a receiver and processing circuitry. The receiver circuitry configured to receive a broadcast stream that includes television content. The processing circuitry executes a television receiver application that displays the television content. The processing circuitry receives indication of a selection of a key that is provided on an input device. In response to reception of the indication of the selection of the key, the processing circuitry determines whether a broadcaster application has reserved the selected key. In response to the determination that the broadcaster application has reserved the selected key, the processing circuitry determines whether a native application associated with the broadcaster application has reserved the selected key. The processing circuitry processes, by the native application, the selected key in response to the determination that the broadcaster application has reserved the selected key and the native application has reserved the selected key.
