In various embodiments, an audio streaming service may provide a plurality of channels. On a particular channel, different types of content can be streamed to audio devices connected to that channel, including channel content, group content, and individual content. Channel content refers to same content that is streamed to all of the audio devices that are connected to the channel. Group channel refers to content that is selected for subgroups of the devices, and individual content refers to content that is selected for an individual device. Channel content may be transmitted to all the devices, then a period of group or individual content is provided, and then the devices are synced back into receiving the same channel content during a syncing window. Listeners can also interact with the content, such as skipping songs or adding songs to their personal collection.

A method, system and computer-usable medium for training an information processing system to utilize personalized audio selection to facilitate achieving a target state comprising: identifying target states for a plurality of users; identifying a type of user for each of the plurality of users; identifying a plurality of sets of audio selections for each of the plurality of users; monitoring reactions by each of the plurality of users to each of the plurality of sets of audio selections; and, associating a set of audio selections from the plurality of sets of audio selections with a type of a user based upon the reactions by the plurality of users to the set of audio selections.

GENERATING PERSONALIZED AUDIO CONTENT BASED ON MOOD
In one embodiment, a personalization application provides emotionally personalized audio content to co-located users. In operation, the personalization application acquires first personalized audio content for a first user based on an emotional state associated with the first user. The personalization application then causes a first audio device associated with the first user to output the first audio content. In addition, the personalization application causes a second audio device associated with a second user that is co-located with the first user to output second audio content while the first audio devices outputs the first audio content. Notably, the second audio content is different from the first audio content.
