Device and method for detecting display of provided credit, and program
The present invention enables detection of a sponsorship credit display in a broadcast program with higher precision. A sponsorship credit display detection device 100 according to the present invention includes: a CM segment detection unit 120 that extracts a cut point, which is a time point where a frame in which the volume of an audio signal of a broadcast program is less than a volume threshold value and the amount of change from a previous frame is at least a pixel change threshold value is played, and detects a CM segment by comparing an interval of the extracted cut point with a CM defined length; a sponsorship credit display segment estimation unit 130 that estimates, as a sponsorship credit display segment, a predetermined time period before or after at least one continuous CM segment detected by the CM segment detection unit 120; and an output unit 140 that outputs information indicating the sponsorship credit display segment.
Method and system for analysis of sensory information to estimate audience reaction
A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform operations, for example, including determining a first correlation value between a behavior of a first audience member and a subject matter being presented at a display processor, wherein the subject matter being presented at the display is observable by the first audience member. A second correlation value is determined between the behavior of the first audience member and a characteristic of an environment in a vicinity of the display and the first audience member. Responsive to the second correlation value exceeding the first correlation value, a determination is made as to whether a present channel selection resulting from user input initiated by the first audience member is responsive to the characteristic of the environment influencing the audience member more than the subject matter being presented at the display. Other embodiments are disclosed.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO VERIFY AND/OR CORRECT MEDIA LINEUP INFORMATION
Methods and apparatus to verify and/or correct media lineup information are disclosed. Disclosed example apparatus include means for determining reference media, the means for determining reference media to identify a plurality of first signatures in a database that matches a plurality of second signatures included in media presentation data representative of media output by a media device in response to a mismatch between the media presentation data and reference data associated with first reference media corresponding to a first station, the plurality of second signatures generated from the media output by the media device; and determine second reference media corresponding to the plurality of first signatures; and means for storing the media presentation data.

METHODS AND APPARATUS TO GENERATE REFERENCE SIGNATURES
Methods and apparatus to generate reference signatures are disclosed. An example method includes collecting a first signature for media being presented to a plurality of households; crediting the media when the first signature matches a reference signature in a reference signature database; in response to determining that the first signature does not match a reference signature in the reference signature database and the first signature does not match an unidentified signature in an unknown signature database, storing the first signature in the unknown signature database; in response to determining that a second signature does not match the reference signature in the reference signature database and the second signature matches the unidentified signature in the unknown signature database, and increasing a count associated with the unidentified signature.

Digital content and response processing system and method
Systems and methods are provided for allowing responses to offers displayed with digital content. The responses may be provided on a receiver system via a conventional feedback through the same distribution channel through which the content and offer were provided, or through an alternative channel, with data being transmitted from an alternative channel device to a transacting entity. For time-shifted playback, content is identified and time-adapted offers may be provided, taking into account factors such as the content, the time of play back, the date of play back, and so forth. The alternate response channel may be more suitable for time-adapted offer responses then for contemporaneously transmitted offers.
Method and Apparatus for Presenting Object Based on Biometric Feature
A method for presenting an object based on a biometric feature includes obtaining information about a first object that a user is gazing at, and biometric feature information of the user gazing at the first object; recognizing a satisfaction status for the obtained biometric feature information of the user gazing at the first object; and determining and presenting information about a second object based on the recognition of the satisfaction status for the biometric feature information of the user gazing at the first object.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING AN INTERACTIVE FEATURE TO ANOTHER DEVICE
Methods and systems are presented for transferring an interactive feature from a first device to a second device. Two users may be consuming a media asset. Upon receipt of a command to active an interactive feature, a determination is made whether a user who did not activate the interactive feature is interested in the media asset. Upon that determination, a timer is activated that tracks an amount of time for which the interactive feature is active and a determination is made whether a threshold time period has been met. Once the threshold time period is met, a device associated with the user that activated the interactive feature is identified and the users are prompted to transfer the interactive feature to the device.
System and method for determining an inactive television channel
An image analysis system and method determines whether a channel is active by intercepting signals from a set-top box and determining whether the signals correspond to an inactive channel by analyzing pixels, recognized text and/or audio in the signal stream. The system and method controls tuning of the set-top box to each channel to be tested. Data relating to the analysis may be stored and transmitted for processing credit requests.
