Hybrid coupler based T/R switch
A hybrid coupler-based T/R switch for use in a TDM system. An output hybrid coupler of a balanced amplifier is used to selectively switch a transmit or receive path to an antenna. During transmission, power at the output of the balanced amplifier is delivered directly to the antenna. During reception, power from the antenna is reflected through ports of the hybrid coupler connected to respective two amplifiers of the balanced amplifier, to constructively combine at a port of the coupler coupled to the receive path, with a ninety degrees phase shift. A pair of shunting switches coupled to the ports of the hybrid coupler connected to the two amplifiers, and a shunting switch coupled to the port coupled to the receive path, control operation of the hybrid coupler-based T/R switch.
Time-division-multiplexing of different protocols over a channel of an interface bus between die
Methods and systems that uses time-division multiplexing to send two or more protocols over an interconnect bridge between two die. The two die communicate, using the interconnect bridge, using a first protocol and a second protocol. The first protocol is a down-configured version of a high-bandwidth version passable through the interconnect bridge. Additional data is interleaved over the interconnect bridge. The additional data is received at a first die of the two die using a second protocol, and the first die interleaves the additional data into communications between the first and second die using time-division multiplexing.

Method and apparatus for handling MBSFN subframes for short TTI in wireless communication system
A method and apparatus for performing a downlink (DL) transmission using a short transmission time interval (TTI) is provided. A network performs a first DL transmission via a first set of subframes which are multicast-broadcast single-frequency network (MBSFN) subframes, and performs a second DL transmission via a second set of subframes using the short TTI. A length of the short TTI is less than 1 ms.

REPORTING UPLINK CONTROL INFORMATION IN A RANDOM ACCESS PROCEDURE
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of a downlink beam in uplink control information of a random access message, wherein the downlink beam is different from a default beam corresponding to a preamble of the random access message and a random access occasion in which the random access message is transmitted, or wherein the downlink beam is selected from a set of multiple downlink beams corresponding to the random access occasion. The UE may monitor for at least one of a random access response or a downlink communication subsequent to the random access response using the downlink beam indicated in the uplink control information. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Communication unit and communication system
A communication unit according to the present disclosure includes: a communication circuit section that receives transmission data divided into head data and one or more subsequent data from an communicated unit over a period of a plurality of time-segments; a storage section having a storage region in which at least the transmission data received by the communication circuit section is stored; and a control section that places a limitation on an access period to cause a period of access to the storage region in a period of a time-segment in which the subsequent data is transmitted to become shorter than a period of access to the storage region in a period of a time-segment in which the head data is transmitted.
