A method and system for providing a cooperative spectrum sharing model that jointly optimizes primary user equipment parameters for improved frequency agility and performance while mitigating mutual interference between the primary user equipment and secondary user equipment. Spectrum sensing is implemented to form a power spectral estimate of the electromagnetic environment (EME) and apply multi-objective optimization to adjust the operational parameters of the primary user equipment to mitigate interference.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for interference mitigation. An exemplary method performed by a base station generally includes determining, based on a location of another base station and information regarding the other base station, that the other base station is likely to experience interference while receiving an uplink transmission due to a downlink transmission by the base station and forming a null in a beam of the downlink transmission in a direction matching the location of the other base station.
Method and apparatus for channel estimation
To facilitate sending a reference signal in a wireless communication environment, a transmitter sends a reference signal in a first time-frequency resource to a user equipment (UE); the transmitter sends data information in a first portion of a second time-frequency resource different from the first time-frequency resource to the UE; and the transmitter excludes data information from being sent in a second portion of the second time-frequency resource. The second portion of the second time-frequency resource is designated for use by another transmitter for sending another reference signal to the UE.

More particularly, the method comprises the steps of: receiving an indicator for changing the usage of a specific subframe corresponding to a sub-component carrier from a network; determining whether near-end crosstalk between the sub-component carrier and another component carrier occurs if the usage of the subframe is changed according to the indicator; and transmitting and receiving a signal to and from the network through the sub-component carrier according to the changed usage if it is determined that the near-end crosstalk does not occur.
SOUNDING REFERENCE SIGNAL TRANSMISSION FOR UE-TO-UE CROSS-LINK INTERFERENCE MEASUREMENT
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE), served by a cell of a base station, may identify a time division duplexing (TDD) configuration for a first cell, wherein the TDD configuration includes a symbol pattern for a slot. The base station may determine an overlap between a downlink symbol or a flexible symbol and an uplink symbol during symbols of the slot based on a TDD configuration. A first UE may receive a configuration for transmitting a cross-link interference (CLI) sounding reference signal (SRS) to a second UE according to the configuration. The second UE may measure the CLI SRS and report the measurement.
INTERFERENCE IDENTIFICATION IN C-V2X COMMUNICATION
A method of wireless communication of a wireless device in a C-V2X connection may include: determining a first WBEE of a symbol at a first bandwidth, the symbol being associated with no expected C-V2X transmissions, determining a second WBEE of the symbol at a second bandwidth, and identifying an interference based on the first WBEE and the second WBEE. The method may also include notifying an operator of the wireless device about the identified interference.
Robust inter-radio access technology operations in unlicensed spectrum
Systems and methods are disclosed for mitigating interference between Radio Access Technologies (RATs) sharing operating spectrum in an unlicensed band of radio frequencies. The mitigation may comprise, for example, identifying an upcoming signal transmission associated with a first RAT, with the signal transmission being scheduled for transmission on the shared operating spectrum during a transmission period. The signal transmission may be classified with respect to a protection status. Based on the protection status, a channel reservation message may be transmitted that is associated with a second RAT to reserve at least a portion of the shared operating spectrum for at least a portion of the transmission period.
FILTERING IDENTIFIER FOR AN OFDM SYSTEM
A broadcast TV signal is a DVB-T2 based system. A DVB-T2 transmitter checks OFDM symbols before transmission to determine a level of adjacent channel interference (ACI). If the of level of ACI is too high, i.e., above a threshold value, the OFDM symbols are filtered before transmission. Otherwise, the OFDM symbols are transmitted without filtering. A filtering field is added to an LI pre-signaling table of the broadcast DVB-T2 signal to signal a DVB-T2 receiver when the received OFDM symbols have been filtered.
