The cover includes a plurality of layers comprising at least one layer inward from the resilient member adapted to separate the resilient member from a head received in the head-receiving cavity and at least two outer layers outward from the resilient member to which the resilient member is secured. In accordance with another aspect, a method of fabricating a surgical cap is provided.
SURGICAL CAP WITH POCKET
The present invention is related to a textile item (T) developed to be placed on the head of the health care providers.
The item is made of conventional fabrics but it has specific properties to be used in the hospital setting, outer layer composed of a semipermeable component, inner layer composed of a breathable and antimicrobial component, and preferably an intermediate layer with the function of an antimicrobial barrier.
Also, the presence of a pocket (P) simultaneously allows the user to store safely, and temporarily, small personal belongings.
So, the present invention belongs to the area of protective clothing for professional use, particularly in the hospital setting.

COVER, AND METHOD FOR USING SAME
The through-hole provided in the substantially central portion of the cover has a thinness that can be stretched when pulled. It is formed to have such a size that the head of a wearer can tautly pass through it, and when the head passes through it, the cover comes to drape over the abdomen and the back of the wearer, and when the abdomen side is lifted up to expose the face of the wearer protruding from the through-hole, the periphery of the through-hole stretches further and adheres to the skin around the face of the wearer from along the nape, under the ears, to along the forehead. Thus, for applying a general hair medicant, such as hair dye or treatment, the cover is a multi-purpose cape which encases the hair with adhering hair medicant, and easily enwraps the hair in its entirety.
Combination surgical cap and deployable bouffant cap
A head cover that can be worn by health care professionals is provided. The head cover includes a surgical cap portion and a bouffant cap portion. The surgical cap portion includes a top surface and a side panel secured to the top surface via a seam. Further, the bouffant cap portion is secured to a rear portion of the side panel, where the bouffant cap portion is maintained against the rear portion of the side panel in an undeployed state and is deployable from the rear portion of the side panel to contain a wearer's hair. As such, the head cover enables a wearer to secure his or her hair inside the bouffant cap as needed, yet bouffant cap portion does not cover the wearer's entire head, which minimizes the amount of heat that is trapped within the head cover and increases the level of comfort for the wearer.

Medical garments and accessories with welded elasticized parts and methods of manufacture
A garment or accessory is provided having an elasticized portion, said elasticized portion being free of stitches or holes. The elasticized portion comprises a fabric portion of the accessory or garment to be elasticized; and a length of elastic element. The length of elastic element is applied to the fabric by a means selected from the group consisting of direct welding and indirect welding. A method is provided for elasticizing a fabric, said elasticized fabric being free of stitches or holes. The method involves providing a stack of fabric to be elasticized; stretching and positioning a length of elastic element against a first of the fabric in the stack; applying one or more ends of the elastic element to the fabric by a means selected from directly welding and indirectly welding; moving the first fabric to expose the next fabric in the stack to be elasticized; and repeating the steps for the next fabric.
MAKEUP AND HAIR PROTECTOR
A makeup shield and hair protector includes a makeup shield and a hair bonnet. The makeup shield attaches to a user's head and covers the user's face while the hair bonnet covers the user's hair. The makeup shield may releasably connect with the hair bonnet. The makeup shield and hair protector protects a user's hair and makeup while putting clothes on.
Multi-layered structure and articles formed therefrom having improved splash resistance by increased interlayer spacing
A splash resistant multi-layered structure is provided. The structure includes a specific arrangement of layers of material and a plurality of three-dimensional spacers that helps prevent penetration through the structure by a fluid that contacts an outer surface of the structure due to a state of forced separation that exists between two adjacent layers of the structure due to the presence of the plurality of three-dimensional spacers positioned between the layers. The plurality of three-dimensional spacers can be positioned on one of the adjacent layers of the structure such that a distance at least as large as the maximum height of the plurality of three-dimensional spacers separates the two layers from each other and can be present on a layer of material in a continuous or discontinuous pattern or can be present on a layer of material in a random fashion. The presence of the three-dimensional spacers can reduce the basis weight or eliminate one or more layers of the structure, which, in turn, can reduce thermal resistance, lower the pressure drop across the layers of the structure, and reduce the overall weight of the structure to enhance breathability and comfort.
Full coverage head cover made with wettable material
A head cover that can be worn by health care professionals is provided. The head cover includes an anterior portion with a height h, a posterior portion with a height h.sub.2, at least one side portion or panel which may be shaped and sized so as to connect the anterior portion of the head cover and the posterior portion of the head cover, and where the at least one side portion has a contoured section t that forms all or a portion of a bottom edge of the side portion and that is shaped and sized so as to cover the ears, scalp, and sideburns of a user as required by AORN guidelines while also remaining clear of a user's eyes and field of vision.
