Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for a privacy blocking device configured to prevent receipt, by a listening device, of video and/or audio data until a trigger occurs. A blocker may be configured to prevent receipt of video and/or audio data by one or more microphones and/or one or more cameras of a listening device. The blocker may use the one or more microphones, the one or more cameras, and/or one or more second microphones and/or one or more second cameras to monitor for a trigger. The blocker may process the data. Upon detecting the trigger, the blocker may transmit data to the listening device. For example, the blocker may transmit all or a part of a spoken phrase to the listening device.

PROTECTING TRANSMISSIONS AGAINST JAMMING

This document discloses a solution for performing anti-jamming procedures. According to an aspect, a method for a terminal device comprises: receiving a first reference signal allocation from an access node, wherein the first reference signal is unique to the terminal device in a cell managed by the access node; receiving a second reference signal allocation from the access node, wherein the second reference signal is shared with at least one other terminal device in the cell; causing transmission of payload data together with the first reference signal according to a regular transmission pattern; and breaking the regular transmission pattern by transmitting dummy data together with the second reference signal in a time-frequency resource shared with the at least one other terminal device.

IBOC compatible superposition modulation by independent modulators utilizing clipping noise from peak-to-average power reduction

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing additional bandwidth to receivers that can decode a higher modulation comprising trading a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction induced constellation noise of all or a subset of in-band on-channel (IBOC) carriers within an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (ODFM) waveform with data carrying superposition modulation.

Speech recognition device, speech recognition method, non-transitory computer-readable medium storing speech recognition program

A speech recognition device of the present disclosure recognizes an uttered speech of a user, and includes a controller configured to control output of any disturbance sound according to whether uttered content requested to the user is content desired not to be heard by a third party, and stop the output of the disturbance sound in response to end of an utterance of the user.

Hardware optimization for 5G fractional bandwidth digital pre-distortion

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transceiver chain may receive, using a downconverter tuned by at least one local oscillator, transmit signals that are modulated using a modulation bandwidth and that span a total bandwidth greater than or equal to the modulation bandwidth. The at least one local oscillator may cover a first fraction of the total bandwidth. The transceiver chain may receive, using at least one analog-to-digital converter, input from the downconverter, and may output a first digital signal based at least in part on the input and sampling at the first fraction of the total bandwidth. The transceiver chain may determine an error associated with the transmit signals based at least in part on the first digital signal, and may perform digital pre-distortion on new signals based at least in part on the error. Numerous other aspects are described.

Embodiments of this application disclose a backscatter communication method and a related apparatus. The method includes: An excitation device determines a first sequence, generates a first signal, and sends the first signal, where the first signal carries the first sequence; after receiving the first signal, a backscatter device modulates backscatter device data onto the received first signal to obtain a second signal, and backscatters the second signal, to implement first scrambling on the backscatter device data by using the first sequence; and a receiving device determines the first sequence, receives the second signal from the backscatter device, and demodulates the received second signal based on the first sequence, to obtain the backscatter device data carried on the second signal.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ASSISTED SIGNAL MIMICRY

The disclosed invention uses artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for detecting and classifying radiofrequency (RF) transmissions to assemble a target signal library containing information about one or more target signals according to several criteria. A signal generator develops a mimic signal, designed to emulate a target signal based on information stored in the target signal library. In some embodiments, AI or machine learning (ML) algorithms further assist in refining the mimic signal to more effectively resemble the target signal. Such signal mimicry is done while maintaining small SWaP-C footprint for system component hardware.

Audio gain selection
11211910 · 2021-12-28 · ·

A device including one or more processors configured to, based on at least one of an external criterion or a signal-based criterion, output a first gain adjusted signal from a first gain adjuster or a second gain adjusted signal from a second gain adjuster as an input to an audio processing operation. The first gain adjusted signal corresponds to a first gain applied to an audio signal from a microphone and the second gain adjusted signal corresponding to a second gain applied to an audio signal from a microphone. The signal-based criterion is based on whether a first signal metric associated with the first gain adjusted signal or a second signal metric associated with the second gain adjusted signal is closer to a target metric.
