Differential power analysis resistant encryption and decryption functions
10320554 · 2019-06-11 · ·

Circuits, methods, and systems are provided for securing an integrated circuit device against Differential Power Analysis (DPA) attacks. Plaintext (e.g., configuration data for a programmable device) may be encrypted in an encryption system using a cryptographic algorithm. Ciphertext may be decrypted in a decryption system using the cryptographic algorithm. The encryption and/or decryption systems may obfuscate the plaintext, the ciphertext, and/or the substitution tables used by the cryptographic algorithm. The encryption and/or decryption systems may also generate cryptographic key schedules by using different keys for encrypting/decrypting different blocks and/or by expanding round keys between encryption/decryption blocks. These techniques may help mitigate or altogether eliminate the vulnerability of cryptographic elements revealing power consumption information to learn the value of secret information, e.g., through DPA.

Method and apparatus for post-processing audio signal, storage medium, and electronic device

This application discloses a method and an apparatus for processing an audio signal. The method includes obtaining a first speech signal acquired by a first device; performing frame blocking on the first speech signal, to obtain multiple speech signal frames; converting the multiple speech signal frames into multiple first frequency domain signal frames; performing aliasing processing on a first sub-frequency domain signal frame among the multiple first frequency domain signal frames with a frequency lower than or equal to a target frequency threshold, and retaining a second sub-frequency domain signal frame among the multiple first frequency domain signal frames with a frequency higher than the target frequency threshold, to obtain multiple second frequency domain signal frames, the target frequency threshold being related to a sampling frequency of a second device; and performing frame fusion on the multiple second frequency domain signal frames, to obtain a second speech signal.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING INTELLIGIBLE VOICE RECORDINGS

A method, device, system and kit for preventing the intelligible voice recording Is provided. The voice of a subject or Interlocutor Is recorded for a given time Interval thereby providing a voice recording. The voice recording Is cut Into shorter time interval segments thereby providing a set of voice recording segments. The set of voice recording segments is mixed in a randomly rearranged order, The mixed set of voice recording segments is spliced into a single randomly mixed voice recording. Emitting the randomly mixed voice recording during speaking of the subject or interlocutor prevents the Intelligible recording of the voice of the subject or interlocutor.

SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT OF PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY FOR OPTIMIZATION OF VOICE APPLICATIONS

A computer-implemented method includes identifying a plurality of protected pieces from a conversation. The computer-implemented method further includes generating one or more confidence scores for each protected piece, wherein a confidence score is a degree of associativity between a protected piece and a type of sensitive information. The computer-implemented method further includes determining that the protected piece is associated with the type of sensitive information. The computer-implemented method further includes determining a type of protection action for each protected piece in the plurality of protected pieces. The computer-implemented method further includes performing the type of protection action for each protected piece in the plurality of protected pieces to form a modified conversation that is devoid of the sensitive information. A corresponding computer system and computer program product are also disclosed.

A network node in a distributed network employs a surface immunoglobulin system configured to monitor other nodes in the distributed network and generate an alert upon detecting a suspicious activity; and a free-antibody system configured to push a free-antibody program to a requesting node petitioning to access the distributed network. The free-antibody program is configured to communicatively couple to the surface immunoglobulin system while monitoring behavior of the requesting node. The free-antibody program reports detected malware and/or suspicious activity to the surface immunoglobulin system, which can enact countermeasures against the requesting node.

System and method for signal re-transmission

System and for signal re-transmission including a channelizer, a signal-effect-processor and a controller. The signal-effect-processor includes a plurality of sub-band-processors and a summer. The channelizer receives a sampled Intermediate-Frequency signal exhibiting a first sampling-rate. The channelizer produces a plurality of sub-band-signals, each associated with a respective sub-band of the Intermediate-Frequency signal. Each sub-band-signal exhibit a second sampling-rate lower than the first sampling-rate. Each of at least one selected sub-band-processor receives a respective sub-band-signal, introduces at least one effect to the respective sub-band-signal, and increases the sampling-rate of the respective sub-band-signal to the first sampling-rate, thereby producing a respective affected sub-band re-transmit signal. Each selected sub-band-processor is further provides the respective affected sub-band re-transmit signal to a respective input of the summer. The summer sums the inputs thereof to produce a wideband affected re-transmit signal. The controller selects the selected sub-band processor and controls settings of the at least one effect.

Method and system for providing a speech-based service, in particular for the control of room control elements in buildings

Various embodiments of the teachings herein include methods and systems for providing a speech-based service for the control of room control elements in buildings. Speech instructions are received by means of an audio device. The audio device is configured to analyze the received speech instructions, to convert them into corresponding operating commands for room control elements for the control of, in particular, HVAC devices (e.g. field devices) in a building and to pass them on to the corresponding room control elements. Before the receipt of the speech instructions by the audio device, the identity of the sender (user) of the speech instructions is anonymized by means of an anonymization service.
