The hardware may be configured to determine whether a data authentication pulse has been superimposed over at least one of the one or more pulses, and authenticate, based on the determination of whether the data authentication pulse has been superimposed over at least one of the one or more pulses, the one or more pulses as a valid representation of the data.

Method and apparatus for information sharing

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for information sharing. The method which may be performed by a first network node comprises receiving a first measurement report from a terminal device. The terminal device may be capable of communicating with the first network node over a first connection. The method further comprises transmitting first measurement information based at least in part on the first measurement report to a second network node. The terminal device may be capable of communicating with the second network node over a second connection.

Dynamic preambles for establishing secure communication channels

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for enhanced wireless communication security. The preambles used for the identification of an upcoming wireless communication may be periodically changed (e.g., dynamic), on a time basis, based on a secret key function shared between the communicating parties. In this way, only the intended parties are able to recognize the start of an ongoing communication, synchronize with the transmitters, and access the information contained therein. An attacker, being unaware of the specific preamble sequence used for the synchronization, will not recognize the pattern of the communication, and thus will be unable to recognize when communications are ongoing. Additional authentication measures may also be implemented with the transmissions.

Disclosed are a method for transmitting and receiving channel state information in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, a method for transmitting, by a terminal, channel state information (CSI) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving a CSI process setting from a base station; and reporting, to the base station, CSI corresponding to a CSI process set by the CSI process setting, wherein when the CSI process is set to a beamformed CSI-reference signal (CSI-RS) type, and the CSI process is associated with a single CSI-RS resource, a codebook used for deriving the CSI may be indicated by the CSI process setting.

Automatic repeat-request system for providing absolute safety and authentication in wireless networks

A system and method for providing confidentiality against eavesdropping and authentication against impersonation attacks for advanced wireless communication systems are disclosed. The method exploits ARQ as a MAC layer mechanism and artificial noise as a physical layer mechanism with maximal ratio combining to achieve secrecy. An artificial noise, not requiring class space in the channel, is designed and added to the data package based on the QoS requirements and channel condition between legitimate parties. Basically, a special AN, which does not require null-space in the channel, is designed based on the QoS requirements and the channel condition between the legitimate parties and injected to the data packet. If the same packet is requested by the legitimate receiver (Bob), an AN cancelling signal is designed and added to the next packet. Then, an AN-free packet is obtained by using MRC process at Bob, while deteriorating the eavesdropper's performance.
