System and method for asset management and integration
A system for communicating and managing messaging between a source system and a destination system including a publisher module, a topic module that receives the message from the publisher module and including one or more subscription modules, a queue module that receives the message from the topic module, a success queue module, an error queue module, and a subscriber module that receives the message from the queue module, then decompresses, decrypts, calculates the check sum, then prepares the message for transmission to the destination system and transmits the message to the destination system.
System and method for storing and forwarding data from a vital-signs monitor
A vital-signs patch for a patient monitoring system that includes a housing containing a sensor that makes physiological measurements of a patient, a transmitter, a receiver, a memory, and a processor. The processor periodically takes a measurement from the sensor, converts the measurement to a data record, and stores the data record in the memory. Upon receipt of a signal from another device, the processor retrieves at least a portion of the data record, converts the retrieved portion of the data record to a vital-sign signal, and causes the transmitter to transmit the vital-sign signal to the other device.
CYCLIC SHIFT SELECTION FOR PHYSICAL SIDELINK CONTROL CHANNEL TRANSMISSION
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for cyclic shift selection for physical sidelink control channel retransmissions. A method that may be performed by a first user equipment (UE) includes monitoring one or more sidelink control information (SCI) transmissions from one or more second UEs. The method generally includes determining, based on the one or more SCI, whether one or more collisions occur between one or more retransmissions of the one or more SCI transmissions by the one or more second UEs and a scheduled SCI transmission by the first UE. The method generally includes selecting a cyclic shift to use for the scheduled SCI transmission by the first UE based at least on the determination.

Method for wireless communication with wireless communication terminal for long range transmission and wireless communication terminal using same
Provided is a base wireless communication terminal that communicates with a Long Range (LR) wireless communication terminal supporting LR wireless communication. The base wireless communication terminal includes a transceiver and a processor. The processor is configured to set length information included in a non-LR preamble, which is a preamble for a non-LR wireless communication terminal that does not support LR wireless communication, to be longer than a length from a predetermined point in a Physical layer Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) to an end point of the PPDU, and transmits the PPDU including the non-LR preamble to the LR wireless communication terminal using the transceiver. In this case, the length information is information for indicating a length from a predetermined point in the PPDU to an end point of the PPDU.
ADAPTIVE MULTIPLE ANTENNA TRANSMISSION SCHEME FOR UPLINK DATA TRANSMISSION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS
The described technology is generally directed towards adaptively changing which transmission scheme a user equipment is to use based on a Doppler metric (e.g., Doppler frequency) as evaluated against a threshold Doppler value. A network instructs a user equipment to use a Rank-1 precoder cycling transmission scheme if the Doppler metric of user equipment is above a threshold value, or to use a closed loop MIMO transmission scheme if the user equipment has a Doppler metric below the threshold value. The network can instruct the user equipment via a suitable message, or by switching off TPMI and notifying the user equipment thereof.

BODY-WORN VITAL SIGN MONITOR
The invention provides a body-worn monitor featuring a processing system that receives a digital data stream from an ECG system. A cable houses the ECG system at one terminal end, and plugs into the processing system, which is worn on the patient's wrist like a conventional wristwatch. The ECG system features: i) a connecting portion connected to multiple electrodes worn by the patient; ii) a differential amplifier that receives electrical signals from each electrode and process them to generate an analog ECG waveform; iii) an analog-to-digital converter that converts the analog ECG waveform into a digital ECG waveform; and iv) a transceiver that transmits a digital data stream representing the digital ECG waveform (or information calculated from the waveform) through the cable and to the processing system. Different ECG systems, typically featuring three, five, or twelve electrodes, can be interchanged with one another.
