A system and a method are disclosed for a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method includes monitoring for at least one of a first condition or a second condition, wherein the first condition includes a CSI-RS or a PDSCH overlapping with an uplink subband in a subband full-duplex operation and becoming non-contiguous in a frequency domain, and wherein the second condition includes different network antenna patterns or power patterns being used in a network energy saving operation for transmission of the CSI-RS; and relaxing processing requirements related to at least one of a processing timeline or occupied computational resources, in response to the first condition or the second condition occurring.

On the receiver side, an unstable AGC operation can be prevented.

Channel feedback for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication systems may be reported by determining a measurement set of transmission strategies for channel feedback for a non-orthogonal channel. Estimates of channel quality for downlink transmissions to the UE corresponding to respective transmission strategies of the measurement set may then be determined. A channel feedback report may then be sent. The channel feedback report may include indicators of channel quality for a subset of the measurement set of transmission strategies.

A method for a User Equipment (UE) operating in a wireless communication system including a Primary Cell (PCell) and a first Secondary Cell (SCell) with a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) resource. The method includes receiving a parameter included in information about a second SCell without the PUCCH resource. The parameter indicates that a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback of the second SCell is to be sent on the first SCell. The method further includes transmitting the HARQ feedback of the second SCell to the first SCell.
User equipment configured to provide synchronization information for sidelink D2D communications using allocated resource units
A signal structure for use in D2D communications is described. In one embodiment, a preamble for automatic gain control at the receiver end is included in the transmitted signal. Techniques for scheduling of D2D transmissions using carrier sensing multiple access (CSMA) and a power control schemes for interference management are also described.

The apparatus may be further configured to receive a traffic power ratio for the second UE to be followed by the second UE when the second UE is a base layer UE in a NOMA communication.

According an embodiment, a system can receive a slot format over a sidelink, wherein the slot format comprises a first release parameter and a transmit period. The system can further facilitate determining whether the first release parameter matches a second release parameter stored in the memory. The system can further facilitate, in response to the determining indicating that the first release parameter matched the second release parameter, updating a resource map used to transmit data, resulting in an updated resource map. The system can further facilitate transmitting the slot format based on the transmit period.
