Multiple Cell Activation
A method, in a wireless device that supports carrier aggregation (CA), the method comprising: receiving a configuration message, from a wireless network node, indicating that the wireless device is to directly activate two or more secondary cells. The method further comprises determining that at least a first one of the two or more secondary cells is to be activated by a first time and that at least a second one of the two or more secondary cells is to be activated by a second time, following the first time. The method also comprises activating the first one of the secondary cells by the first time and subsequently activating the second one of the secondary cells by the second time.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONFIGURING TRANSMISSION BANDWIDTH, AND DEVICE
The present application provides a method and apparatus for configuring a transmission bandwidth, and a device, for accelerating an activation speed of a carrier/BWP, reducing waiting time of a UE, and saving power consumption of the UE. The method comprises: determining a first carrier/first BWP; and sending a PDCCH to a user terminal UE by means of a second carrier/second BWP, the PDCCH being used for bearing instruction information for activating the first carrier/first BWP and sending a reference signal over the first carrier/first BWP, so that the UE may activate the first carrier/first BWP and receive the reference signal, wherein the reference signal is used by the UE for performing channel measurement and synchronous tracking on the first carrier/first BWP.
Slot indication method, access network device, and user equipment
A method includes: determining, by an access network device, at least one piece of downlink control information, where the downlink control information includes at least one slot format indication; and sending, by the access network device, the downlink control information to a group of user equipment on a group common downlink control channel, where the group of user equipment operates in M bandwidth parts, the at least one slot format indication is used to indicate a slot format corresponding to N numerologies of the M bandwidth parts, and both N and M are positive integers greater than 1.

Provided is a data transmission system using a carrier aggregation. The data transmission system may assign a radio resource based on a correspondence relationship between a downlink and an uplink, and may transmit data using the assigned radio resource.
Techniques for selecting subcarrier spacing for signal detection
Techniques are described herein that allow a user equipment (UE) to configure a subcarrier spacing value while monitoring synchronization signals of neighboring cells. In some wireless communication systems, synchronization signals in given radio frequency spectrum band may be transmitted using one of a plurality of different subcarrier spacings. In some cases, a network entity, such as a base station, may transmit an indication to the UE that indicates the subcarrier spacing used by a cell to transmit a specific set of synchronization signals. In some cases, the UE may select a subcarrier spacing based on a database of subcarrier spacings stored locally by the UE. In some cases, the UE may select the subcarrier spacing based on a predetermined configuration.
Carrier aggregation in wireless communication systems
Provided is a data transmission system using a carrier aggregation. The data transmission system may assign a radio resource based on a correspondence relationship between a downlink and an uplink, and may transmit data using the assigned radio resource.
Tone plans for wireless communication networks
Methods and apparatuses for communicating over a wireless communication network are disclosed herein. One example apparatus includes a memory that stores instructions. The apparatus further includes a processor coupled with the memory. The processor and the memory are configured to determine a total bandwidth for a transmission of a message, the total bandwidth including a plurality of tones. The processor is further configured to divide the plurality of tones in the total bandwidth into one or more 26-, 52-, 106-, 242-, or 996-tone blocks. The processor is further configured to determine an indication. The indication assigns one or more of the one or more tone blocks to a first wireless communication device. The apparatus further includes a transmitter configured to transmit the indication to at least the first wireless communication device or a second device.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR USER DISTRIBUTION TO SUB-BANDS IN MULTIPLE ACCESS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS
A mechanism is presented for attributing users to one or more of a plurality of sub-bands in a multiple access communications system, wherein in an initial assignment phase, a first user is selected for a sub band, for example on the basis of a user priority. Users having complementary channel gains to that of the first user are identified, and then a second sub-band user maximizing a performance metric reflecting the achieved throughput, and/or fairness across users, is selected to accompany the first user on that sub-band. The initial assignment phase may terminate once all users have been assigned to a sub-band once. After the first phase is complete, the first user for each sub-band may be the user whose achieved total throughput is furthest from a target throughput defined for that user, wherein each user is assigned to the remaining sub-band to which no first user is currently attributed offering the highest channel gain for that user. Mechanisms for determining user priority, making provisional and definitive power allocations, and performance metrics are proposed.
Vehicle wireless device discovery
Methods, apparatuses, systems, and computer-readable media for vehicle wireless device discovery are provided. A wireless device may use a discovery code to announce information, such as a type of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication. The discovery code may be used by another wireless device in proximity (e.g., a monitoring wireless device) to discover the announcing wireless device. The wireless devices may exchange packets using vehicle-to-everything communication.

A method of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: receiving an indicator for changing a bandwidth from a base station; identifying whether there is a signal to be transmitted on the changed bandwidth at a time of transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) ACK information for data received on a secondary cell (SCell) from the base station; and multiplexing and transmitting the signal and the HARQ ACK information in case that there is a signal to be transmitted in the changed bandwidth.
