IBOC COMPATIBLE SUPERPOSITION MODULATION BY INDEPENDENT MODULATORS UTILIZING CLIPPING NOISE FROM PEAK-TO-AVERAGE POWER REDUCTION
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for providing additional bandwidth to receivers that can decode a higher modulation comprising trading a peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction induced constellation noise of all or a subset of in-band on-channel (IBOC) carriers within an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (ODFM) waveform with data carrying superposition modulation.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MULTIPLEXING UPLINK CHANNELS IN WIRELESS CELLULAR COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A communication technique of fusing a 5.sup.th generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data transmission rate beyond a 4.sup.th generation (4G) system with an Internet of Things (IoT) technology and a system thereof are provided. The communication technique may be applied to intelligent services (e.g., smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car or connected car, health care, digital education, retail business, security and safety related service, or the like) based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT related technology. In order to support sufficient uplink coverage, two structures of an uplink control channel and a multiplexing method with other channels, a method in which long term evolution (LTE) and 5G systems coexist in a single carrier, and a method for reducing an overhead of downlink control information are provided.
PARALLEL NETWORK ARCHITECTURE FOR AGGREGATE DATA ROUTING
Network architectures are interfaced with diverse inputs like a hub with multiple spokes. A portion of these input are further interfaced as limited outputs. The inputs can be from wholly different users streaming unrelated data in different protocols. HL7 ADTs in these inputs can control network configuration, culling or screening output to communications that match user parameters. Network architectures can aggregate and enhance information that matches from among these inputs, including information across protocols such as HL7. Such information can be provided and stored back to other sources so as to add to or correct wide area data stores. All communications can be provided in real-time and with manageable volumes that do not fatigue users and better manage network resources.

Time-division duplex frame structure for narrowband communications
A UE may determine a frame structure for narrowband communications, the frame structure corresponding to one frame structure from a group of TDD frame structures of different downlink and uplink subframe configurations. The UE receives configuration information indicating a first carrier to monitor for a BCH and/or a SIB1. Then, the UE receives a PSS, an SSS, and the BCH and/or the SIB1 using the frame structure determined for the narrowband communications. The first carrier that is used to receive the BCH and/or the SIB1 may be different from a second carrier used to receive one or more of the PSS or the SSS.
Multiple Wake Words for Systems with Multiple Smart Assistants
In one embodiment, a method includes by a client system associated with a user, receiving, at the client system, a user input from the user, parsing, by the client system, the first user input to identify a request to execute a function to be performed by an assistant system of several assistant systems associated with the client system, determining whether the user is authorized to access the assistant system by comparing a voiceprint of the user to several voiceprints stored on the client system, sending, from the client system to the assistant system in response to determining the user is authorized to access the assistant system, a request to set an assistant xbot of the assistant system into a listening mode, and receiving, at the client system from the assistant system, an indication that the assistant xbot is in listening mode.
Generating compositional natural language by assistant systems
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a user query from a client system associated with a first user, executing tasks via agents which return responses, each response comprising information items, analyzing the responses to determine slots, each slot corresponding to one of the information items, determining compositional sub-goals for each response, wherein each compositional sub-goal indicates a semantic-intent of the respective response, generating compositional fragments by a compositional natural-language generation (NLG) model, each compositional fragment comprising a partial natural-language response, determining a top-level compositional goal, generating a communication content by the compositional NLG model, wherein the communication content comprises a complete natural-language response to the user query, and wherein the complete natural-language response is based on the partial natural-language responses of the compositional fragments, and sending instructions for presenting the communication content to the client system.
