DECODING PHYSICAL MULTICAST CHANNEL SUBFRAMES ACCORDING TO DIFFERENT REFERENCE SIGNAL PATTERNS
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a multicast channel configuration that indicates a set of multicast channel time domain resources allocated to a multicast channel for a first multicast broadcast area. The UE may receive an indication of a first set of time domain resources, of the set of multicast channel time domain resources, that have a first reference signal pattern that differs in frequency domain density as compared to a second reference signal pattern used for at least one of a second set of time domain resources of the set of multicast channel time domain resources or a second multicast broadcast area. The UE may decode the first set of time domain resources based at least in part on the first reference signal pattern. Numerous other aspects are provided.
HART MODEM AND DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
A HART modem includes: a HART/Host communication conversion unit, which relays communication between a HART device and a diagnostic device or a host device; a communication waveform detection unit configured to record data sampled from HART communication signals transmitted and received to and from the HART device in a communication waveform temporary storage unit; a communication content monitoring unit configured to monitor contents of HART communication and instruct the communication waveform detection unit to start recording and stop the recording of data according to a signal acquisition timing specified by a user; and a waveform acquisition management unit configured to transmit data accumulated in the communication waveform temporary storage unit to the diagnostic device when the recording of the data is stopped.
RECEIVER CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS WIRELESS INFORMATION AND POWER TRANSMISSION OPERATING IN DUAL MODE
A method of performing adaptive mode switching in a transmitter of a dual mode simultaneous wireless information and power transmission (SWIPT) system, incudes receiving received power of a receiver in a channel; comparing the received power with a predetermined threshold value; selecting one of a single tone mode or a multi-tone mode as a single/multi-tone mode based on the comparison result; selecting a modulation index based on the selected single/multi-tone mode and the received power; and transmitting the selected single/multi-tone mode, the selected modulation index, and a duty cycle to the receiver. The duty cycle is determined based on at least one of power consumed for decoding a single tone signal, power consumed for decoding a multi-tone signal, and power harvested during the channel by the receiver.
Method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving uplink signaling information in a single carrier FDMA system
A method and an apparatus method are provided for transmitting uplink information including acknowledgement information in a wireless communication system. The method includes coding, by a terminal, uplink data and the acknowledgement information by using different coding schemes respectively; multiplexing, by the terminal, the coded uplink data and the coded acknowledgement information into the uplink information; and transmitting, by the terminal, the uplink information using resources. At least a portion of the uplink data is transmitted based on a first resource and the acknowledgement information is transmitted based on a second resource. The first resource and the second resource are adjacent to each other with respect to a time domain and a frequency domain. The acknowledgement information is located immediately adjacent to a pilot for the uplink data, and the pilot is used for demodulation of the uplink data.
OFDM system with reverse link interference estimation
A new method of performing interference estimation to allow the data packets to be efficiently delivered in an OFDM system. The interference estimation is performed on average over each frame for each mobile station individually in both frequency and time domains. Based on the estimated interference, the CIR can be determined by the BTS based on channel response estimates made by the BTS, or by the MS based on channel response estimates made for the uplink assuming a symmetrical channel. Numerical results show that the CIR estimation error could be very small if a sub-channel is considered as the minimum transmission unit. In terms of the aggregate throughput, the interference estimation method can provide a significant gain.
Systems, methods, and devices for electronic spectrum management for identifying open space
Systems, methods, and apparatus are provided for automated identification of open space in a wireless communications spectrum, by identifying sources of signal emission in the spectrum by automatically detecting signals, analyzing signals, comparing signal data to historical and reference data, creating corresponding signal profiles, and determining information about the open space based upon the measured and analyzed data in near real-time.
