Symbol-group based spreading schemes
11637583 · 2023-04-25 · ·

Methods, systems, and devices for the design of symbol-group based spreading schemes are described. An exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a terminal, a first spread signal that is generated by spreading a first group of N data symbols using a first set of N sequences, where N is a symbol-group length, L is a spreading length, each of the first set of N sequences is from an orthogonal spreading sequence set that comprises L sequences, and each of the L sequences is of length L. Another exemplary method for wireless communication includes transmitting, by a network node, an indication of a first set of N sequences, and receiving a first spread signal comprising a group of N data symbols spread using the first set of N sequences.

Handling collisions between multiple acknowledgement transmissions and an uplink data transmission

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit a downlink control transmission and multiple downlink data transmissions to a user equipment (UE). The UE may schedule an uplink data transmission based on the downlink control transmission and may schedule transmission acknowledgement messages based on the multiple downlink data transmissions. The UE may identify that the scheduled uplink data transmission overlaps with the scheduled transmission acknowledgement messages. The UE may generate one or more acknowledgement codebooks for transmission of the multiple transmission acknowledgment messages and may multiplex the one or more acknowledgement codebooks with the uplink data transmission on the uplink data channel. In some cases, the UE may multiplex the codebooks based on determining that a set of timing thresholds are satisfied by an earliest of the multiple transmission acknowledgement messages and the uplink data transmission with respect to one or more downlink transmissions.

Homogenizing data sparsity using a butterfly multiplexer

A data-sparsity homogenizer includes a plurality of multiplexers and a controller. The plurality of multiplexers receives 2.sup.N bit streams of non-homogenous sparse data in which the non-homogenous sparse data includes non-zero value data clumped together. The plurality of multiplexers is arranged in 2.sup.N rows and N columns. Each input of a multiplexer in a first column receives a respective bit stream of the 2.sup.N bit streams of non-homogenized sparse data, and the multiplexers in a last column output 2.sup.N bit streams of sparse data that is more homogenous than the non-homogenous sparse data of the 2.sup.N bit streams. The controller controls the plurality of multiplexers so that the multiplexers in the last column output the 2.sup.N channels of bit streams of sparse data that is more homogeneous than the non-homogenous sparse data of the 2.sup.N bit streams.

Decoding physical multicast channel subframes according to different reference signal patterns

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a multicast channel configuration that indicates a set of multicast channel time domain resources allocated to a multicast channel for a first multicast broadcast area. The UE may receive an indication of a first set of time domain resources, of the set of multicast channel time domain resources, that have a first reference signal pattern that differs in frequency domain density as compared to a second reference signal pattern used for at least one of a second set of time domain resources of the set of multicast channel time domain resources or a second multicast broadcast area. The UE may decode the first set of time domain resources based at least in part on the first reference signal pattern. Numerous other aspects are provided.

METHOD FOR INDICATING DIRECT CURRENT SUBCARRIER AND COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
20230163935 · 2023-05-25 ·

The present disclosure relates to methods for indicating a direct current subcarrier and communication apparatuses. In one example method, a second communication apparatus may explicitly or implicitly indicate a location of a first direct current subcarrier and a location of a second direct current subcarrier to a first communication apparatus. The first direct current subcarrier is a direct current subcarrier corresponding to a transmit frequency used by the second communication apparatus. The second direct current subcarrier is a direct current subcarrier corresponding to a receive frequency used by the first communication apparatus.

RESOURCE MAPPING SCHEMES FOR CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REPORTING ON NEW RADIO PHYSICAL UPLINK CONTROL CHANNEL
