Semi-persistent scheduling subband switching

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station (BS) may detect, for physical downlink shared channel transmissions in a multi-panel frequency division multiplexing deployment with multi-user, multiple input, multiple output transmission, a semi-persistent scheduling occasion update event. The BS may switch from performing semi-persistent scheduling for the physical downlink shared channel transmissions on a first subband to performing semi-persistent scheduling for the physical downlink shared channel transmissions on a second subband. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Various examples are disclosed for hybrid alert and action solution in Internet-of-Things (IoT) networks. A multi-edge alert definition specifies a plurality of IoT devices that communicate through edge devices. The multi-edge alert definition is decomposed decompose into individual edge alert sub-definitions. Each of the individual edge alert sub-definitions is evaluated using data from individual ones of the edge devices. An alert is triggered based on one of the individual edge alert sub-definitions being met.

Virtual converged cable access platform (CCAP)

Approaches for a virtualized Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) for providing high speed data services to a remote physical device (RPD). The virtualized Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) comprises a core routing engine (CRE) for performing packet switching and routing and one or more physical or virtual compute servers (CS) that each perform CMTS functions for the one or more remote physical devices (RPDs). Each physical or virtual compute server (CS) connects to the core routing engine (CRE) with a Link Aggregation Group (LAG) of two or more Ethernet links.

Premises apparatus and methods for aggregated high-capacity data services

Premises apparatus and methods for providing aggregated high-bandwidth, low-latency data service over a content delivery network including existing wireline infrastructure. In one embodiment, a network architecture having service delivery over at least portions of extant hybrid fiber coax (HFC) infrastructure is disclosed, which includes standards-compliant ultra-low latency and high data rate services (e.g., 3GPP and IEEE Std. 802.11 services) via a common service provider. In one variant, an expanded frequency band (e.g., 1.6 GHz in total bandwidth) is used over the coaxial portions of the HFC infrastructure, which is allocated to two or more sub-bands. Premises apparatus are used to support multi-service integration (e.g., aggregation of mobile wireless, premises, and other services), as well as incipient IoT applications and technologies.

Noise classification for event detection

In one aspect, a network microphone device includes a plurality of microphones and is configured to detect sound via the one or more microphones. The network microphone device may capture sound data based on the detected sound in a first buffer, and capture metadata associated with the detected sound in a second buffer. The network microphone device may classify one or more noises in the detected sound and cause the network microphone device to perform an action based on the classification of the respective one or more noises.

Electronic device and electronic device control method

Disclosed is an electronic device that includes a display, a communication module, at least one microphone, at least one speaker, a processor operatively coupled to the display, the communication module, the microphone, and the speaker, and a memory operatively coupled to the processor. The memory may store instructions, when executed, causing the processor to transmit, through the speaker, a first audio sound including first information, receive, through the microphone, a second audio sound including second information responding to the first information from a first external electronic device, transmit, through the speaker, a third audio sound including third information for acquiring a distance to the first external electronic device after receiving the second audio sound, and receive, through the microphone, a fourth audio sound including fourth information responding to the third information from the first external electronic device.
