ADDRESS SETTING SYSTEM, ADDRESS SETTING METHOD, ADDRESS SETTING MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND PROGRAM

A location information transmitter transmits location information within a prescribed area. An IoT terminal receives the location information and transmits the location information and a device identifier. An address setting management device receives the location information and the device identifier and sets an IP address to be assigned to the IoT terminal on the basis of the location information and the device identifier and transmits the IP address to the IoT terminal. The IoT terminal sets the IP address received from the address setting management device for itself.

Systems and methods of gestural interaction in a pervasive computing environment

The technology disclosed relates to selecting among devices room to interact with. It also relates operating a smart phone with reduced power consumption. It further relates to gesturally interacting with devices that lack gestural responsiveness. The technology disclosed also relates to distinguishing control gestures from proximate non-control gestures in a pervasive three dimensional (3D) sensory space. The technology disclosed further relates to selecting among virtual interaction modalities to interact with.

The present invention concerns a method for controlling a home-automation facility comprising at least one central control unit (U1, U2) belonging to a home-automation facility; the method being executed by a user terminal (T) and comprising the following steps: selecting (ECTLT1) a first local connection mode (CM1) or a second wide area network connection mode; establishing (ECTLT2) a connection between the user terminal and at least one target unit (U1, U2, Sv), said at least one target unit (U1, U2, Sv) being a central control unit (U1, U2) in the case in which the first local connection mode (CM1) has been selected, and a management unit (Sv) in the case in which the second wide area network connection mode has been selected; sending (ECTLT3) a discovery message (MCTLD1, MCTLD2, MCTLD′) linked with a facility identifier (StID) to at least one target unit (U1, U2, Sv); receiving (ECTLT5, ECTLT7) at least one topology description message originating from the target unit (U1, U2, Sv) comprising a description of a group of devices (DGrSt) attached to the facility identifier (StID).

Systems and methods for geofence security
11564055 · 2023-01-24 · ·

Systems and methods for geofence information delivery are disclosed. A multiplicity of devices constructed and configured in network communication in a region of interest via a peer-to-peer network. The multiplicity of devices store cached geofence information for the region of interest. The multiplicity of devices on the peer-to-peer network are operable to convert between an IP address and a geographic location. Each of the multiplicity of devices is operable to query peer devices on the peer-to-peer network for geofences associated with an IP address or a geographic location. At least one peer device is operable to deliver one or more geofences associated with the IP address to the querying device via zero-configuration networking or web service.

OPTICAL PATH DESIGN APPARATUS, OPTICAL PATH DESIGN METHOD AND PROGRAM

An optical path design device includes: a search unit configured to search for one or more route possibilities from a start point to an end point in an optical network including one or more transmission paths as links and a plurality of node devices as nodes on the basis of topology information of the optical network, information on the start point, and information on the end point; a time derivation unit configured to derive available time which is time at which a frequency band including one or more frequency slots becomes available for communication for each of the transmission paths or the node devices included in the route; and a design unit configured to select the route from the one or more route possibilities that have been searched for on the basis of the available time derived for each of the transmission paths or the node devices and select a frequency band of an optical signal to be transmitted through an optical path in the selected route.

Pseudo wire load sharing method and device

Home device controller with touch control grooves

A home device controller can include one or more touch grooves, a touch slider operatively coupled to each of the one or more touch grooves, and one or more processors. The processor(s) can receive signals from each touch sensor, each signal corresponding to a touch gesture performed by a user interacting with the one or more touch grooves. The processor(s) can generate control commands executable by a home device based at least in part on the signals, and transmit the control commands to the home device for execution.
