Control apparatus, control apparatus control method, and program
A control apparatus includes a packet handling operation setting unit that sets a packet handling operation for processing a packet for a communication node selected from a plurality of communication nodes. The packet handling operation setting unit sets the packet handling operation for communication nodes out of the plurality of communication nodes other than the selected communication node, in response to the fact that it was possible to set the packet handling operation for the selected communication node.
Control system for power control
A power control system for saving power by powering on enough application servers to satisfy the current load workload as well as any required reserve capacity based on administrative settings is disclosed. As the load increases, more servers are powered on. As the load decreases some servers are powered off. The power control system provides a reasonable end user experience at the least cost based on power consumption of the servers.
PCIe lane aggregation over a high speed link
A computer network system configured with disaggregated inputs/outputs. This system can be configured in a leaf-spine architecture and can include a router coupled to a network source, a plurality of core switches coupled to the router, a plurality of aggregator switches coupled to each of the plurality of core switches, and a plurality of rack modules coupled to each of the plurality of aggregator switches. The plurality of rack modules can each include an I/O appliance with a downstream aggregator module, a plurality of server devices each with PCIe interfaces, and an upstream aggregator module that aggregates each of the PCIe interfaces. A high-speed link can be configured between the downstream and upstream aggregator modules via aggregation of many serial lanes to provide reliable high speed bit stream transport over long distances, which allows for better utilization of resources and scalability of memory capacity independent of the server count.

SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE VALVE DURATION AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF
A system for controlling a CVVD by adjusting an actuator for controlling the CVVD is provided. The system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) configured to output a command phase angle and a selection signal for controlling the actuator based on a vehicle state and a mode of operation, and an actuator controller configured to operate based on the command phase angle and the selection signal and output an electric current to adjust the actuator. The actuator controller is configured to output an electric current corresponding to the command phase angle originating from the ECU or adjust the command phase angle and then output an electric current corresponding to the corrected command phase angle based on a type of selection signal.
System and method for providing value-added content in an electronic communications environment
In various exemplary embodiments, a system architecture and associated method to provide value-added content in an electronic communications environment occurring over a communications link between a first electronic system provider and a third-party cloud provider is disclosed. The system architecture comprises an electronic communications interface to allow translation between the first electronic system provider, additional electronic system providers, and an end-user to the third-party cloud provider. The electronic communications interface further provides the first electronic system provider with at least a portion of the content within communications streams from the additional electronic system providers and the end-user via the communications link. A visual generator provides display regions to the end-user with the value-added content from the first electronic system provider that is related to the at least a portion of the content of at least one of the communications streams.
Communication node, control apparatus, method for management of control information entries and program
The communication node includes an entry memory adapted to store a preset number of the control information entries, each stipulating the processing applied to a packet received, in association with the user information, and a packet processor that references the entry memory to process the packet received. The communication node also includes an entry management section that exercises control so that, on the basis of a preset reference, the proportion of the number of the control information entries for one user stored in the entry memory to the number of the control information entries storable in the entry memory will not surpass a preset value.
Communication system, control apparatus, and network topology management method
A communication system includes: a control apparatus configured to set control information, which causes each control target switch to distinguish a link layer discovery protocol packet of a first network from a link layer discovery protocol packet of a second network different from the first network and to perform corresponding predetermined processing, in each control target switch; a group of switches each of which is configured to transmit a link layer discovery protocol packet of the first network to a predetermined topology management apparatus in accordance with control information set by the control apparatus; and a topology management apparatus configured to manage a network topology configured by the group of switches on the basis of information included in a link layer discovery protocol packet of the first network received from each of the switches.
Method and apparatus for selecting path from paths between label edge routers
The embodiments disclose a method and apparatus of selecting a path for transmission from paths between a first LER and a second LER in the MPLS network. The method may comprise: obtaining state information of the paths between the first LER and the second LER, the state information may indicate that a path is in up state or down state; obtaining stability information of at least one of the paths between the first LER and the second LER, the stability information may indicate that a path is stable or unstable; and selecting a path for transmission based on the state information and the stability information.
Distributed scheduling method and apparatus for resource allocation for device to-device communication
Provided is a distributed scheduling method and apparatus for resource allocation for Device-to-Device (D2D) communication. The method includes sending, by a Mobile Station (MS) including data to transmit, a first resource reservation message through at least one first slot among a plurality of slots constituting a resource reservation unit in a resource reservation channel; and when a second resource reservation message sent by another MS is not sensed in a slot with a higher priority than the first slot in the resource reservation unit, transmitting the data through a transmission resource unit corresponding to the resource reservation unit in a data transmission channel. The resource reservation channel corresponds to the transmission resource unit, and the plurality of slots has mutually cyclic priorities.
