N-PHASE PHASE AND POLARITY ENCODED SERIAL INTERFACE
System, methods and apparatus are described that facilitate transmission of data, particularly between two devices within an electronic apparatus. Information is transmitted in N-phase polarity encoded symbols. Data is encoded in multi-bit symbols, and the multi-bit symbols are transmitted on a plurality of connectors. The multi-bit symbols may be transmitted by mapping the symbols to a sequence of states of the plurality of connectors, and driving the connectors in accordance with the sequence of states. The timing of the sequence of states is determinable at a receiver at each transition between sequential states. The state of each connector may be defined by polarity and direction of rotation of a multi-phase signal transmitted on the each connector.
METHOD FOR ESTIMATING CHANNEL STATUS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
A method for estimating a channel status by a base station in a wireless communication system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: obtaining an uplink channel matrix by using a sounding reference signal (SRS) received from a terminal; transmitting a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) through at least some antenna devices in a two-dimensional antenna array of the base station; receiving a channel quality indicator (CQI) calculated on the basis of the CSI-RS transmission; and obtaining, through a predetermined correction factor obtained on the basis of the CQI and the uplink channel matrix, a downlink channel matrix for the entire two-dimensional antenna array comprising the remaining antenna devices through which the CSI-RS is not transmitted.

ESTABLISHMENT OF CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET IN CELLULAR NETWORK
Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and/or methods to establish a connection to the Internet via a local gateway (L-GW) function for a LIPA or a SIPTO@LN. The establishment of the connection to the Internet may be performed, for example, by at least one of an E-RAB SETUP procedure, an INITIAL CONTEXT SETUP procedure, an INITIAL UE MESSAGE procedure or an UPLINK NAS TRANSPORT procedure.
TRANSFORMING AND COMBINING SIGNALS FROM ANTENNA ARRAY
A method of reducing a number of signals that are output for processing by an antenna array and the antenna array are disclosed. The method comprises: receiving signals at a plurality of antenna elements from at least one user equipment; transforming the signals to at least one different domain to generate sparse signals; combining at least some of the signals to form a reduced number of signals; and outputting the reduced number of sparse signals to signal processing circuitry.
NETWORK NODE AND METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a network node having a processor and a transceiver. The processor is configured to select at least one user device if a Channel Estimation Timer (CET) for a radio channel between the network node and the at least one user device is valid, and to schedule data transmission to the at least one selected user device. The transceiver is configured to perform the scheduled data transmission to the at least one selected user device. The present disclosure also describes a corresponding method, a wireless communication system including such a network node, a computer program, and a computer program product.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CANCELLING INTER-CELL INTERFERENCE IN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for canceling and/or suppressing inter-cell interference in a wireless communication. The method includes: establishing a Radio Resource Control (RRC) connection with a base station through a first serving cell; receiving, at a User Equipment (UE), an RRC message through the first serving cell, the RRC message comprising cell-specific reference signal (CRS) information of a neighbor cell and Physical Downlink Shared Channel (PDSCH) information of the neighbor cell, and the PDSCH information of the neighbor cell comprising a parameter relating to a power ratio of a CRS of the neighbor cell and a PDSCH of the neighbor cell; receiving the PDSCH through the first serving cell; performing a channel estimation for retrieving data from a PDSCH of the first serving cell; and retrieving the data from the PDSCH of the first serving cell based on the second channel estimation.
Capacitively coupled resonators for high frequency galvanic isolators
Isolators for high frequency signals transmitted between two circuits configured to operate at different voltage domains are provided. The isolators may include resonators capable of operating at high frequencies with high bandwidth, high transfer efficiency, high isolation rating, and a small substrate footprint. In some embodiments, the isolators may operate at a frequency not less than 30 GHz, not less than 60 GHz, or between 20 GHz and 200 GHz, including any value or range of values within such range. The isolators may include isolator components galvanically isolated from and capacitively coupled to each other. The sizes and shapes of the isolator components may be configured to control the values of equivalent inductances and capacitances of the isolators to facilitate resonance in operation. The isolators are compatible to different fabrication processes including, for example, micro-fabrication and PCB manufacture processes.
FORWARD ISOLATION IN RADIO-FREQUENCY SWITCHES USING INTERNAL REGULATOR
A radio-frequency switch includes a series field-effect transistor, a shunt field-effect transistor having a gate node, and shunt arm control circuitry configured to receive an internal regulator voltage and provide the internal regulator voltage to the gate node of the shunt field-effect transistor when the radio-frequency switch is in a stand-by mode of operation.
