Indication of listen-before-talk configuration for uplink communications

Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment may monitor for a transmission over a set of periodically scheduled resources (e.g., semi-persistently scheduled resources)) of a downlink shared channel in an unlicensed spectrum. The user equipment may receive the transmission, where the transmission indicates a channel access configuration (e.g., a listen-before-talk configuration) for accessing the unlicensed spectrum. In some cases, the transmission may include a medium access control (MAC) control element (MAC-CE) that indicates the channel access configuration. The transmission may additionally indicate at least one uplink channel over which the user equipment may transmit a message and/or a channel occupancy time associated with a successful acquisition of the unlicensed spectrum by the base station. The user equipment may transmit a message (e.g., an acknowledgement) based on the channel access configuration.

A system and method of cognitive radio control to allow for low probability of detection and/or low probability of exploitation communications in a contested or hostile environment. The cognitive radio system of the present disclosure can reason over policy constraints and real-time data to make dynamic changes to mission parameters in real-time.

Channel allocation based on adjacent channel interference

A communication management resource receives input indicating presence of a pair of wireless stations including a first wireless station and a second wireless station in a network environment. Based on a determined amount of adjacent channel interference between the first wireless station and the second wireless station, the communication management resource generates an adjacent channel interference value. The communication management resource assigns the adjacent channel interference value to the pair of wireless stations. The adjacent channel interference value indicates an estimate of adjacent channel interference between the first wireless station and the second wireless station. In a network of wireless stations, the adjacent channel interference value is used as a basis to identify pairs of wireless stations that are susceptible to adjacent channel interference. A wireless channel allocation management resource uses the adjacent channel interference information to allocate wireless channels for use by wireless stations to reduce adjacent channel interference.

HARQ feedback collision in unlicensed bands

Described are embodiments for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback information. In one embodiment, a wireless device receives a first downlink control information (DCI) indicating a first slot for transmission of uplink control information (UCI) comprising the HARQ feedback information. The wireless device receives a second DCI scheduling a plurality of physical uplink channels (PUSCHs) in a plurality of consecutive slots comprising the first slot. The wireless device multiplexes the UCI in a first PUSCH, of the plurality of PUSCHs, in the first slot. In response to a failed listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure for the first slot, the wireless device determines a second slot associated with a second PUSCH of the plurality of PUSCHs, and transmits, in response to a successful LBT procedure for the second slot, the UCI via the second PUSCH.

Channel availability check optimization

Channel availability check optimization may be provided. A plurality of Pulse Repetition Intervals (PRIs) may be determined for a respective plurality of bursts on a respective plurality of frequencies. A list of at least a portion of the plurality of frequencies may be generated. The list may include a plurality of bias factors respectively indicating a probability that each of the respective plurality of bursts was a radar burst based on the respective plurality of PRIs. An Access Point (AP) may perform a plurality of preemptive Channel Availability Checks (CACs) on each of the respective plurality of frequencies on the list in order of highest probability to lowest probability based on the plurality of bias factors.

This application provides a method for reducing interference between a radar and an uplink frequency band. A first network device obtains a characteristic of a radar signal on the uplink frequency band, and determines a corresponding protection measure based on the characteristic of the radar signal, to reduce interference between the radar signal and the uplink frequency band. In this way, when 5G communication collides with the radar in time domain and frequency domain of the uplink frequency band, the 5G communication and the radar can still coexist. This improves utilization of a wireless spectrum.

RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD

Provided is a radio communication device capable of reducing interference, caused by non-SR transmission, with a basic service set (BSS) performing spatial reuse (SR) transmission. An SR transmission resource control unit (107) of the radio communication device (SR initiator) (100) determines transmission resources for an SR signal to be transmitted by means of SR to a second BSS other than a first BSS to which the radio communication device (100) belongs on the basis of radio quality information transmitted from other radio communication devices (SR responders) in the first BSS. A radio transmission/reception unit (101) transmits the SR signal by using the determined transmission resources.
