SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MICRO NETWORK SEGMENTATION
A wireless communication system includes an external provider subsystem and an electronic network subsystem in operable communication with the external provider subsystem. The electronic network subsystem is configured to provide a first microservice and a second microservice different from the first microservice. The wireless communication system further includes an in-home subsystem (i) separate from the external provider subsystem, (ii) in operable communication with the electronic network subsystem, and (iii) including a first micronet and a second micronet different from the first micronet. The first micronet is configured to operably interact with the first microservice, and the second micronet is configured to operably interact with the second microservice. The wireless communication system further includes at least one electronic device configured to operably connect with one of the first micronet and the second micronet.
TECHNIQUES FOR OPERATING A DISTRIBUTED COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A distributed network of communication nodes is organized in a hierarchy of clusters. Upon deployment, nodes exchange messages to form an upper layer cluster and multiple lower layer clusters. Each lower layer cluster may be in communication with one upper layer cluster node, which may function to communicate messages to/from the nodes in the lower layer cluster to the upper layer nodes. Cluster formations may be achieved by exchanging messages among member nodes. The communication between nodes during the operation of the distributed network is based on a consensus protocol such as a modified Paxos protocol, as described herein.
Segment routing over label distribution protocol
An apparatus and method is disclosed for segment routing (SR) over label distribution protocol (LDP). In one embodiment, the method includes a node receiving a packet with an attached segment ID. In response, the node may attach a label to the packet. Thereafter, the node may forward the packet with the attached label and segment ID to another node via a label switched path (LSP).
Communication method, system and apparatus
A communications system which includes a first data center and a second data center, where the first data center includes a first message proxy, a first routing proxy, a service server, and a storage server and configured to receive a first message from an application running on the service server, add routing information to the first message to generate a second message when the first message is processed by the second data center, and store the second message in a public area of the storage server, where the public area is configured to store a message processed by the second data center. The first routing proxy is configured to obtain the second message from the public area, and send the second message to the second data center based on the routing information.
MODIFIED CONSENSUS PROTOCOL FOR ELIMINATING HEARTBEAT NETWORK TRAFFIC
A computing system in data communication with a plurality of nodes that make up a distributed computing cluster can detect an absence of communication from a node of the plurality of nodes over a time period that exceeds a predefined threshold time period. The computing system can query an instance of a central topology manager for the plurality of nodes regarding liveness of the node from which the absence of communication was detected and can attempting to re-initiate communication with the node when the instance of the central topology manager indicates that the node is live.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING ROUTING OF TRANSACTIONS OVER A COMPUTER NETWORK
A system and a method of optimizing an organizational structure (OS) of an organization may include: receiving one or more data elements pertaining to the OS; receiving a value of one or more transaction parameters pertaining to one or more transactions conducted over one or more nodes of a first computer network; perturbating a value of one or more OS elements; creating a simulated computer network based on the one or more perturbated values; for each network of the first computer network and the simulated computer network, calculating a value of at least one OS performance parameter; and generating, based on the calculation, a suggestion for optimizing the OS, wherein the suggestion may include at least one perturbated OS element value.
SEGMENT ROUTING: PCE DRIVEN DYNAMIC SETUP OF FORWARDING ADJACENCIES AND EXPLICIT PATH
An apparatus and method for path creation element driven dynamic setup of forwarding adjacencies and explicit path. In one embodiment of the method, a node receives an instruction to create a tunnel between the node and another node. The node creates or initiates the creation of the tunnel in response to receiving the instruction, wherein the tunnel comprises a plurality of nodes in data communication between the node and the other node. The node maps a first identifier (ID) to information relating to the tunnel. The node advertises the first ID to other nodes in a network of nodes.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND DEVICE
Provided are a data transmission method and device. The method includes that: N second-type nodes are grouped to form a third-type node, N being a positive integer more than or equal to 2; and data is transmitted in a network formed by the second-type nodes, the third-type node and a first-type node.
FLOW TRACING OPERATION IN CONTAINER CLUSTER
Some embodiments provide a method for an agent executing on a Kubernetes node in a cluster. The method instructs a forwarding element that also executes on the node to process a flow tracing packet. From the forwarding element, the method receives a message indicating a set of flow entries matched by the flow tracing packet as the forwarding element processes the flow tracing packet. For each flow entry of at least a subset of the flow entries matched by the flow tracing packet, the method generates mapping data that maps elements of the flow entry to Kubernetes concepts implemented in the cluster. The method reports data regarding the set of flow entries along with the generated mapping data.
SaaS application clustering for path probing to support application-based routing
In one embodiment, a device clusters traffic characteristics of traffic associated with a plurality of online applications into one or more clusters. The device determines representative traffic characteristics for a particular cluster in the one or more clusters. The device generates, based on the representative traffic characteristics, a probing strategy for the plurality of online applications associated with the particular cluster. The device causes path probes to be sent along one or more network paths in accordance with the probing strategy.
