Coordination of message thread groupings across devices of a communication system

A system that can coordinate user interface formats having customized threads comprising messages from a common thread. Each client device can be managed by a data structure that defines thread containers, where individual thread containers define threads and topics for each thread. Each thread can also be associated with unique groups of messages. The data structure can cause each client computer to display different user interface formats, with each format showing different threads for each user. Users engaged in a chat on a parent thread can split the parent thread into multiple child threads, that can each be associated with unique topics. The system can then associate individual messages of the parent thread with each child thread. The system provides more granular control of user interface formats to allow users to separate messages of high-priority topics.

A system in which existing email protocols are leveraged to exchange information between two or more client devices. In some examples, a trained classifier can be leveraged to apply a label or classification to a received email. Based on the classification of the email, one or more parsers can be selected which can output data to be displayed in a dedicated portion of a graphical user interface.

Disclosed are some implementations of systems, apparatus, methods and computer program products for enabling out of office message settings of multiple computing systems using a single out of office message configuration. A request to generate an out of office message configuration associated with a user is received and an indication of computing systems associated with the request is obtained. In addition, an indication of a start date, an indication of an end date, and an out of office message are obtained in association with the request. The out of office message configuration is saved such that the start date, end date, and out of office message are associated with the computing systems and the user. For each of the computing systems, an out of office message setting is enabled using the start date, end date, and out of office message of the out of office message configuration such that an out of office function of the computing system is configured to transmit the out of office message, during a period from the start date to the end date, in response to receipt of a message addressed to the user via the computing system.

System, Device, and Method of Generating and Utilizing One-Time Passwords
20230029152 · 2023-01-26 ·

System, device, and method of generating and utilizing one-time passwords. A method generates a particular One-Time Password (OTP) string that is based on pre-defined OTP string construction rules. The particular OTP string is not a purely-random string; rather, the particular non-purely-random OTP string provides to a behavioral monitoring unit a capability to extract user-specific behavioral typing patterns from a way in which a user types characters of the particular OTP via a keyboard of an electronic device. The method sends the particular OTP string to the user; monitors the way that the user types the OTP string; extracts from the user interactions, that were performed while the user entered the OTP string, a user-specific behavioral typing characteristic; and based on that user-specific characteristic, determines whether that user is authenticated or non-authenticated, and optionally activates fraud mitigation operations or transaction blocking operations if the user is non-authenticated.

Mobile device selection of preferred content

A user of a mobile device can specify particular news, weather, traffic, or other perishable content received on a particular Internet radio station or other media channel received by the mobile device. The user can customize the station so that wherever the user is currently located, they can receive on their mobile device perishable content related to a preferred geographic location or other category. In some embodiments, a user can specify that a customized station plays local news from one city at the top of the hour, traffic from another city at 10 minutes past the hour, and music or other content at other times. The user can also customize original content from the personal libraries of specified users. Thus, a user can customize not only the genre of content or select a particular local station, but can also modify the perishable content provided by the customized station.
