Adjustable hand trowel
10440872 · 2019-10-15 ·

An adjustable hand trowel comprising a handle, a blade-neck assembly comprising a blade and a neck, and an adjustable fastener system is disclosed herein. The adjustable fastener system provides a secure method of fastening the blade-neck assembly to the handle wherein the adjustable hand trowel is able to withstand forces typically exerted when using a trowel for digging and wherein the user may readily dig in confined spaces. The disclosed adjustable hand trowel further allows a user to adjust the relative position of the blade and handle using an adjustable fastener system that may be operated using one hand. The adjustable hand trowel may thereby allow the user to dig in an ergonomic and efficient manner in applications that would otherwise be unsuitable for ergonomic and efficient digging.

DIGGING TOOL SYSTEM
20190261548 · 2019-08-29 ·

A digging tool system provides a combination pickaxe and shovel superior to other digging tools in that it effectively allows a user to both break apart dense or impacted material and to move the material with a single tool. The digging device includes a digging head with a generally triangular blade which is capable of penetrating and moving substrate. The blade has a vertically and horizontally curved face, with a greater depth of curve on one side of the horizontal curvature, and a substrate-piercing tip formed by the apex of the blade which is positioned off-center relative to a handle. The greater depth on one side and the off-center placement of the substrate-piercing tip allow for material to be moved to one side as the digging device is pulled through the material.
