DOMAIN NAME OPERATION VERIFICATION CODE GENERATION AND/OR VERIFICATION
System, apparatus, methods, and computer-readable medium for generating a verification code related to a registry operation request are provided. A verification process may be performed to determine if a verification request related to a registry operation is to be approved. If the request is to be approved, a verification code is generated that includes identifying information of a verification service provider and a code indicating that the request has been verified.
Method and System for Providing Time-Critical Services via a Flow Control Environment
Method and system for providing time-critical services via a flow control environment, wherein at least one respective server component is provided for each service, wherein the server component is formed by a flow control component that is loadable into the flow control environment and executed there, where a configuration unit for at least one gateway component of a subnetwork forming the flow control environment ascertains globally valid access information associated with respective addressing information of the server components that is valid within the subnetwork, based on a mode of operation predefined via the configuration unit, one or more gateway components connected in parallel and/or in series are used, and where the at least one gateway component forwards service access requests to the server components in accordance with the forwarding and/or filter rules and the mode of operation.
Techniques for vetting inbound calls in a telecommunication network
Techniques are described for vetting unwanted calls. At an inbound customer call handling apparatus, a SIP INVITE is received from a destination carrier servicing the inbound customer intended for a destination user agent (UA) device of the inbound customer. The SIP INVITE includes a current origination identifier (ORIG ID) comprised of a fixed length character string. The call handling apparatus accesses a database of stored ORIG ID character strings, each stored ORIG ID character string in the database having been included with a previous SIP INVITE that has been previously associated with an unwanted inbound call. The call handling apparatus analyzes the current ORIG ID character string to determine if it matches any stored ORIG ID character strings in the database. When there is a match to a stored ORIG ID character string, the SIP INVITE is not forwarded to the destination UA device. Otherwise, it is forwarded to the destination UA device.
NETWORK ADDRESS RESOLUTION
A content delivery method including the operations of receiving a uniform resource locator resolution request at an authoritative name server for a domain where the uniform resource resolution request is received based, at least in part, on a host name of the uniform resource resolution request where the host name is uniquely related to a resource associated with the uniform resource resolution request. The method further including the operation of tracking a popularity of the resource based on the host name uniquely related to the resource and providing a location within a network capable of delivering the resource where the provided location is based on the popularity of the resource.

CDN configuration tuning based on domain scan analysis
This document relates to a CDN balancing mitigation system. An implementing CDN can deploy systems and techniques to monitor the domains of content provider customers with an active DNS scanner and detect which are using other CDNs on the same domain. This information can be used as an input signal for identifying and implementing adjustments to CDN configuration. Both automated and semi-automated adjustments are possible. The system can issue configuration adjustments or recommendations to the implementing CDN's servers or to its personnel. These might include “above-SLA” treatments intended to divert traffic to the implementing CDN. The effectiveness can be measured with the multi-CDN balance subsequently observed. The scanning and adjustment workflow can be permanent, temporary, or cycled. Treatments may include a variety of things, such as more cache storage, routing to less loaded servers, and so forth.

Creating a pseudonym for requesting a network slice
A wireless device requests a network slice from a network by, first, identifying at least one network slice to be requested. Based on a mapping method that is specific to the wireless device, the wireless device forms a slice pseudonym for the or each network slice to be requested. The wireless device then transmits a request message to the network, wherein the request message comprises the or each slice pseudonym. The network node receives the request message sent by the wireless device, wherein the request message comprises at least one slice pseudonym. Based on a mapping method that is used by the wireless device and that is specific to the wireless device, the network node identifies at least one requested network slice from the or each received slice pseudonym. The network node then permits use of the requested network slice.
Separating intended and non-intended browsing traffic in browsing history
Facilitating separation of intended and non-intended browsing traffic in browsing history advanced networks (e.g., 4G, 5G, and beyond) is provided herein. Operations of a system can comprise determining respective contradiction values for second-level domains of a group of second-level domains in observed browsing history traffic. The operations can also comprise separating intended network traffic from non-intended network traffic based on the respective contradiction values. The respective contradiction values can indicate levels of inconsistency between the observed browsing history traffic and a determined popularity ranking.
SHARING NETWORK ADDRESSES
A network address assigned a shared designation by a first client computer is received, in a first data format, automatically, at a host computer from the first client computer. The network address is categorized and published. Publishing the network address includes converting the network address into a second data format, receiving, at the host computer, a subscription request from a second client computer, and sending the network address to the second client computer in response to receiving the subscription request.
