SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CREATING INTELLIGENT IP ADDRESSES
A method includes obtaining subscriber attributes from a subscriber, encoding the subscriber attributes into an internet protocol (IP) address, and assigning the encoded IP protocol address to the subscriber. The encoded IP address with attributes specific to the subscriber may then be used to provide customized and enhanced services to the subscriber and provide more efficient operations for the service provider.
ADDRESS FILTERING IN A RADIO FREQUENCY FRONT END OF A RECEIVER
A radio frequency (RF) front end receives one or more symbols of a first frame transmitted by a transmitter. The RF front end determines that the one or more received symbols are correlated to one or more address symbols, where the one or more address symbols are each a time-domain signal of subcarriers that the transmitter transmits. The RF front end provides the received one or more symbols to a baseband system based on the correlation. The baseband system recovers bits of a second frame within the first frame based on the received one or more symbols.
IP-based matching system
In one aspect, an example method includes (i) accessing, by a computing device, a first Internet Protocol (IP) address that encodes first attributes of a first profile; (ii) accessing, by the computing device, a second IP address that encodes second attributes of a second profile; (iii) comparing, by the computing device, the first IP address and the second IP address using a network layer communication function; (iv) determining, by the computing device, that a result of the comparing satisfies a threshold condition; and (v) based on the result of the comparing satisfying the threshold condition, providing, by the computing device to another device, an indication of a match between the first profile and the second profile.
PHYSICAL SERVICE COMMUNICATION PROXY DOMAIN
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for implementing a physical service communication proxy domain A method may include interconnecting a first network element with one or more service communication proxy domains, each associated with one or several internet protocol addresses or fully qualified domain names used for the interconnection. The method may also include registering the first network element with a network repository function by sending a service operation to the network repository function. Further, the service operation may include profile information of the first network element. In addition, the profile information may include one or more service communication proxy domains, each associated with one or several internet protocol addresses or fully qualified domain names.
Authorizing a computing device across services
Services may be accessed across a network. In order to provide access to the services, a user or more particularly a user's device may be authorized to access the requested service based on an IP address associated with the service request. A subscriber identifier is determined based on the IP address of the request and used to authorize the requested service.
Systems, methods and apparatus for geofence networks
Systems, methods and devices for location-based services are disclosed in the present invention. A multiplicity of network devices, a database, and a server platform in network-based communication. The database stores a space-network model binding IP addresses and physical locations. The server platform is operable to generate at least one geofence in the space-network model and specify entitlements for the location-based services within the at least one geofence. The at least one geofence and specific entitlement are stored to the database. The multiplicity of network devices are configured to learn the space-network model and the at least one geofence and perform tasks based on the entitlements specified for the location-based services within the at least one geofence.
System and method for supporting SMA level abstractions at router ports for inter-subnet exchange of management information in a high performance computing environment
Systems and methods for supporting SMA level abstractions at router ports for inter-subnet exchange of management information in a high performance computing environment. In accordance with an embodiment, a subnet manager in a local subnet is responsible for establishing and configuring a remote attribute a switch having a switch port configured as a router port. This remote attribute can comprise certain information about the local subnet, including connectivity information and port status information. On receiving a query from a remote subnet manager, via a SMP (or a vendor specific SMP), information contained in the remote attribute can be communicated back to the remote subnet manager.
Dynamic IP address categorization systems and methods
Methods and systems for dynamic IP categorization include receiving electronic requests to access an electronic server; logging a first set of requests occurring during a first period of time and originating from an IP address belonging to a set of IP addresses; assigning the set of IP addresses to a first category according to the first set of requests; logging a second set of requests occurring during a second period of time and originating from the first IP address or a second IP address belonging to the set of IP addresses; determining a second category according to the second set of requests; assigning the set of IP addresses to the second category when the first category and the second category differ; and providing a response to a requesting IP address based on the category associated with the set of IP addresses to which the requesting IP address belongs.
System And Method For Remotely Filtering Network Traffic Of A Customer Premise Device
Systems, methods, and devices for performing targeted filtering of network traffic generated by user equipment (UE) devices connected to a customer premise equipment (CPE) device in a communication system that includes a distributed residential gateway. A network server may determine that the communication system includes a UE device that is compromised, misconfigured, or operating outside normal communication parameters, identify the UE device, determine an Internet protocol (IP) address or a media access control (MAC) address of the identified UE device, generate a quarantine request message that includes the IP address or the MAC address of the identified UE device in response to determining that the preconfigured virtual local area network access control list (VACL) on the CPE lists source IP addresses from which the CPE will filter outbound traffic, and send the generated quarantine request message to a bridged residential gateway (BRG) associated with the CPE device.
