METHODS AND APPARATUS TO PERFORM NETWORK-BASED MONITORING OF MEDIA ACCESSES
An example apparatus includes: at least one memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: determine whether a census impression record corresponds to a panelist impression record by: comparing a first internet protocol (IP) address of the panelist impression record with a second IP address of the census impression record; and comparing a first timestamp of the panelist impression record with a second timestamp of the census impression record; and send a comparison result to a computer of an audience measurement entity, the comparison result indicative of a match confirming the census impression record corresponds to the panelist impression record of the audience measurement entity.
DYNAMIC PRODUCT RESOURCE MAPPING OF CLOUD RESOURCES
Data characterizing a first address of a software service executing based on a first virtual resource that is within a remote computing environment is received. The executing includes transmitting a request for utilization of the first virtual resource. The received data further characterizes a log of the request for the first virtual resource. The log includes the first address and a second address of the first virtual resource. A mapping between the first address of the software service and the second address of the first virtual resource is determined using the received data. The mapping between the first address of the software service and the second address of the first virtual resource is provided. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.
Cross-chain interactions using a domain name scheme in blockchain systems
Implementations of the present disclosure include identifying, by a relay that is communicatively linked with a first blockchain instance and a second blockchain instance in a unified blockchain network, a blockchain domain name of a first blockchain instance; identifying a blockchain domain name of the second blockchain instance; receiving, from a node of the first blockchain instance, an access request for accessing the second blockchain instance, wherein the access request including the blockchain domain name of the second blockchain instance; identifying a chain identifier of the second blockchain instance based on the blockchain domain name of the second blockchain instance, wherein the chain identifier of the second blockchain instance indicates a blockchain network configuration of the second blockchain instance; and providing access to the second blockchain instance for the first blockchain instance based on the blockchain network configuration indicated by the chain identifier of the second blockchain instance.
System and Method for Notification of Listening Devices
There is disclosed in one example a computing apparatus, including: a hardware platform including a processor and a memory; a transceiver; a local user display; and instructions encoded within the memory to instruct the processor to: locate via the transceiver at least one nearby device; receive observational profile information for the nearby device; and display on the local user display information about the nearby device's observation abilities.
GENERATION OF TUNNEL ENDPOINT IDENTIFIER FOR PACKET TUNNELING
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a device, method, apparatus and computer readable storage media for generating a tunnel endpoint identifier (TEID) for packet tunneling. In example embodiments, a TEID is generated at a downstream device for a tunnel from an upstream device to the downstream device at least in part based on a target address of an information packet to be transmitted in the tunnel. The generated TEID is sent towards the upstream device for establishment of the tunnel.
Systems and methods for controlling electronic message transmissions
Methods and systems for controlling electronic message transmission are described. An example method may include: receiving, via a network, an error report generated based on a response from a recipient email server responsive to an attempt to send a message to an email address associated with the recipient email server, the error report indicating that the attempt to send the message was rejected by the recipient email server; adding the email address to a block list, wherein any subsequent attempt to send messages to the email address is blocked based on the email address being in the block list; and removing the email address from the block list after a defined period of time.
UNIT, UNIT CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
Provided is a technology with which it is possible to access a function unit to be accessed without ascertaining an IP address of the function unit. Provided is a unit comprising: a communication unit for relaying a communication between an external device connected to a first network and another unit connected to a second network; a setting unit for acquiring address information of the other unit in the second network from the other unit and generating setting information in which the address information is associated with an identifier which substitutes for the address information; and a link information generation unit for generating, on the basis of the identifier, link information used to access information on the other unit from the external device.
Phone number alias generation
The disclosed systems and techniques enable an enterprise system to store contact phone numbers for users while avoiding storing and managing personal phone numbers for the user. For example, the enterprise system may forward personal phone numbers to an aliasing server configured to (i) generate alias phone numbers based on the personal email addresses and (ii) provide the alias phone numbers to the enterprise system. The aliasing server may operate as a “middle man” that receives phone calls or text messages directed to the alias phone numbers and that forwards the phone calls or text messages to the corresponding personal phone numbers (when appropriate). The enterprise system may store and maintain the alias phone numbers in lieu of storing the personal email addresses.
UPDATING ROUTING INFORMATION BASED ON CLIENT LOCATION
A system, method, and computer-readable medium for updating request routing information associated with client location information are provided. A content delivery network service provider receives a DNS query from a client computing device. The DNS query corresponds to a resource identifier for requested content from the client computing device. The content delivery network service provider obtains a query IP address corresponding to the client computing device. Based on routing information associated with the query IP address, the content delivery network service provider routes the DNS query. The process further includes monitoring performance data associated with the transmission of the requested resource and updating routing information associated with the query IP address based on the performance data for use in processing subsequent requests form the client computing device.
