METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSLATION BETWEEN IPV4 AND IPV6
20170279937 · 2017-09-28 ·

A method for the translation between IPv4 and IPv6 is disclosed, including: a BIH link tracker and quick translator are provided in a network core and when a link is established between an IPv4 client and IPv6 server, a standard translator translates and sends to the IPv6 server, a packet sent from the IPv4 client to the IPv6 server, and the

BIH link tracker extracts and records information on link and translation of the IPv4 client and IPv6 server from the packet for interaction therebetween; and during a process of sending the packet after establishing the link between the IPv4 client and IPv6 server, the packet is sent to the quick translator which translates and sends the packet according to the information on the translation corresponding to the information on the link recorded by the BIH link tracker. A device for the translation between IPv4 and IPv6 is also disclosed.

Method and Apparatuses for Enabling Routing of Data Packets Between a Wireless Device and a Service Provider Based in the Local Service Cloud

There is provided a method for constructing a traffic filter enabling routing of data between a wireless device and a Local Service Cloud, LSC, based service provider and a corresponding system, computer program and computer program carrier. There is also provided a method for enabling routing of data packets between a wireless device in a cellular communication network and a Local Service Cloud, LSC, based service provider, a method for routing data packets between a wireless device in a cellular communication network and a Local Service Cloud, LSC, based service provider and corresponding network nodes.

Methods and apparatuses for providing internet-based proxy services

A proxy server receives, from multiple visitors of multiple client devices, a plurality of requests for actions to be performed on identified network resources belonging to a plurality of origin servers. At least some of the origin servers belong to different domains and are owned by different entities. The proxy server and the origin servers are also owned by different entities. The proxy server analyzes each request it receives to determine whether that request poses a threat and whether the visitor belonging to the request poses a threat. The proxy server blocks those requests from visitors that pose a threat or in which the request itself poses a threat. The proxy server transmits the requests that are not a threat and is from a visitor that is not a threat to the appropriate origin server.

Method, device, and system for obtaining address of SIP registration server

The present invention provides a method, device, and system for obtaining an address of a SIP registration server. The method includes: obtaining, by a branch device, a domain name system DNS resource record for specifying the location of service SRV response message; adding information of a SIP local survivable registration server to the DNS SRV response message; and returning the DNS SRV response message to which the information of the SIP local survivable registration server is added to a branch terminal, so that the branch terminal obtains an Internet protocol IP address of the SIP local survivable registration server according to the information of the SIP local survivable registration server in the DNS SRV response message. The solutions provided by the present invention ensure normal working of the branch terminal and saves costs.

A transmission management system includes a destination name data managing unit which manages a plurality of destination name data items which indicate a plurality of names of a destination in communications between transmission terminals, a destination name data reading unit which reads a destination name data item from the plurality of destination name data items managed by the destination name data managing unit, and a destination name data transmitting unit which transmits the destination name data item read by the destination name data reading unit to a transmission terminal capable of communicating with the destination.

Network Management

A proxy server sets up a tunnel with a managed object in a private network and allocates management information for the managed object. The management information comprises a management address of the managed object. The proxy server receives a network management message with a destination address being the management address of the managed object. The proxy server forwards the network management message to the managed object over the tunnel and forwards a network management message, from the tunnel, with a source address being the management address of the managed object to a Network Management System (NMS).

OPTIMIZED DOMAIN WHITELISTING
20170331780 · 2017-11-16 ·

An optimized approach to whitelisting includes, at a domain name service server, determining whether a first domain and a second domain resolve to a same Internet Protocol (IP) address, and in response to a request from a domain name service proxy as to whether the first domain resolves to an IP address shared by another domain, notifying the domain name service proxy that the first domain resolves to an IP address shared by another domain. The method further includes the domain name service proxy receiving from the domain name service server a response that indicates that the first domain resolves to an IP address shared by another domain, and storing, in memory, the IP address and an indication that the IP address is shared by another domain. A data flow associated with a shared IP address is subjected to further scrutiny even if the IP address is on a whitelist.
