CONTROLLER DRIVEN RECONFIGURATION OF A MULTI-LAYERED APPLICATION OR SERVICE MODEL
Some embodiments provide novel inline switches that distribute data messages from source compute nodes (SCNs) to different groups of destination service compute nodes (DSCNs). In some embodiments, the inline switches are deployed in the source compute nodes datapaths (e.g., egress datapath). The inline switches in some embodiments are service switches that (1) receive data messages from the SCNs, (2) identify service nodes in a service-node cluster for processing the data messages based on service policies that the switches implement, and (3) use tunnels to send the received data messages to their identified service nodes. Alternatively, or conjunctively, the inline service switches of some embodiments (1) identify service-nodes cluster for processing the data messages based on service policies that the switches implement, and (2) use tunnels to send the received data messages to the identified service-node clusters. The service-node clusters can perform the same service or can perform different services in some embodiments. This tunnel-based approach for distributing data messages to service nodes/clusters is advantageous for seamlessly implementing in a datacenter a cloud-based XaaS model (where XaaS stands for X as a service, and X stands for anything), in which any number of services are provided by service providers in the cloud.
Session management
One or more embodiments of techniques or systems for session management, security scoring, and friction management are provided herein. Sessions may be monitored for commonalities or other attributes or aspects and closed, terminated, or a freeze placed on additional sessions from being initiated. A security score may be provided which is indicative of how secure a user is with respect to one or more ways the user interacts with a resource. One or more suggested actions or score improvement strategies may be suggested to facilitate improvement of a security score for a user. Friction management may be provided by having one or more additional layers of security applied to an account of a user or an entity based on suspicious behavior or other factors.

It uses encrypted authorization tokens to handle session management and is able to modify origin data on-the-fly in order to inject per-client authorization information into the data stream. It can enforce maximum concurrent session limits, user bans, limit exemptions, and time-limited live content previews.

Micro-navigation for a vehicle
A system and method for micro-navigation of a mobile object (1000) is disclosed herein. Micro-navigation provides guidance to destinations that are not normally found on maps or in navigation systems. In one micro-navigation method, data is collected (1501) related to route transit to specific end points that are not typically mapped. The end points are identified (1502) by relating specific geo coordinates, or physical landmark based characteristics, or electronically described and defined end point to a an identification that will be entered and stored in a location database. Guidance (1503) is provided to vehicles traveling to those end points or destinations, with additional information relevant to a route and/or a specific vehicle and configuration updated and made available to the system.
OPTIMIZED DIRECTORY ENUMERATION AND DATA COPY FOR CLIENT DRIVE REDIRECTION IN VIRTUAL DESKTOPS
System and methods are provided for improved directory enumeration and data copy with shared client directories in virtual desktops by quickly and efficiently retrieving shared directory entries from the client device over a separate fast channel and caching them on the virtual desktop, where the directory entries can be available locally to applications in the virtual desktop for performing directory enumeration. The fast channel can further be utilized for efficiently transferring data in data copy operations between the client device and the virtual desktop.
Precision time protocol with multi-chassis link aggregation groups
The precision time protocol (PTP) runs on the peer switches in an MLAG domain. PTP messages received by one peer switch on an MLAG interface is selectively peer-forwarded to the other peer switch on the same MLAG interface in order to coordinate a synchronization session with a PTP node. The peer-forwarded messages inform one peer switch to be an active peer and the other peer switch to be an inactive peer so that timestamped messages during the synchronization session are exchanged only between the PTP node and the active peer, and hence take the same data path.
