SYSTEM AND METHOD DELIVERING REMOTELY STORED APPLICATIONS AND INFORMATION
The present invention includes computerized method and apparatus for user interactivity with a network application executing on a server. The method and apparatus includes receiving, via a wireless network, an event message from a mobile device, the event message representing an input from a user interface on the mobile device where the user interface is executing based on a mobile application. The method and apparatus further includes generating data values based on the input in the event message and information relating to the mobile device. Moreover, the method and apparatus includes sending an update message to the mobile device based on the data values for updating a display of the mobile device.
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
In a communication system, an image forming apparatus sends an address of a receiving section to an external device. The external device receives a selection of image data through plural thumbnails displayed on a display section, and wirelessly sends the selected image data to the image forming apparatus with the address. The image forming apparatus receives the selected image data sent with the address by the external device, and prints an image based on the selected image data. The image forming apparatus accepts a selection indicating whether a communication between the external device and the image forming apparatus is performed by a first communication system method or a second communication system method. The image forming apparatus performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the first communication system method when the first communication system method is selected, and performs sending and/or receiving the image data with the address by the second communication system method when the second communication system method is selected.
SCRIPTING WEB SERVICES
A process performed on a server includes configuring the server to enable script for a Web service to be defined dynamically, where the Web service includes an application program interface (API) for enabling access by, and interaction with, a computer program executing on a device other than the server. The process also includes compiling the script to produce machine-executable code for the Web service, receiving a call from the computer program to the Web service, executing the machine-executable code in response to the call to produce an output, and sending the output to the device.
DYNAMIC SECURITY MODULE SERVER DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
Disclosed herein are a dynamic security module server device for transmitting a dynamic security module to a user terminal and receiving a security management event from the user terminal, and a method of operating the dynamic security module server device. The dynamic security module server device includes a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a security management event over a network, and a processor configured to control the communication unit. The processor is configured to create a security session with the security client of a user terminal, and to transmit a dynamic security module to the security client of the user terminal so that part or all of code performing security management in the security client of the user terminal in which the security session has been created has a predetermined valid period.
Sharing User Context And Preferences
Technology for interoperability is disclosed by enabling the sharing of user context or preferences for a computing experience across computing devices, operating systems, applications, or locations. A platform and application programming interface (API) are provided for computer applications and services to store and retrieve context data associated with a computing experience. Access to the context data for sharing may be managed by an access controller, which enables a user to manage access permissions for the sharing of the context data. The context data may be defined according to a common schema, which specifies the information for sharing and may be communicated using common communication channels or protocols. Thus context data may be shared across nearly any application or service including those developed in different computer programming languages or operating on different types of computing devices or devices running different operating systems or by different software developers.
MANAGING PARTICIPANTS IN AN ONLINE SESSION
The present invention relates to an application that is configured to be operated in a multi-participant environment on a computer network. The application manages participants in an online session of a multi-user application so that if one of the participants exits the session, the session can continue without interruption. The application initiates an online session of the multi-user application, wherein the online session includes two or more participants comprised of network computers that are communicatively linked to a computer network. If the application detects that a first participant has disconnected from the online session, wherein the first participant is responsible for managing certain managerial functionality associated with the running of the multi-user application, then the application broadcasts a notification to existing participants of the online session over the communication network, thereby notifying the existing participants that the first participant has disconnected from the online session. The initiating application then re-assigns the functionality associated with the first participant to an existing participant of the online session. The participants can be communicating in a peer-to-peer arrangement or can be performing server duties in a client-server arrangement.
System and Method of Generating and Using Bilaterally Generated Variable Instant Passwords
Implementations of a system and method of generating and using bilaterally generated variable instant passwords are disclosed. The system is used to secure electronic transactions (e.g., an auction in which one or more bidders are unknown to the auctioneer). In this system an Internet Service Provider (ISP), on request from a USER (e.g., a bidder), facilitates an authentication process with a SERVICE PROVIDER (e.g., an auctioneer). The SERVICE PROVIDER may send a sub-folder, containing a USER name, a temporary sub variable character set, and a CALL, to the USER through the ISP. The password used to access the sub-folder is transmitted directly to the USER by the SERVICE PROVIDER. The USER gets authenticated to the SERVICE PROVIDER by using the USER name, the temporary sub variable character set, and the CALL retrieved from the sub-folder. After USER's authentication, further transactions (e.g., bids) are performed using a password for each transaction.
System and method using peer-to-peer connections for a distribution interaction session
A system for facilitating a distribution interaction session between two or more user devices through peer-to-peer connections comprises a processor associated with a server. The processor is configured to receive a request from a first user device to initiate a distribution interaction session between the first user device and a second user device via a distribution interaction application. The first user device has established a peer-to-peer connection with the second user device based on geolocation information. The processor is further configured to initiate the distribution interaction session from the distribution interaction application and to receive account information from the first user device through data streaming between the first user device and the server. The processor is further configured to determine an account associated with a first user based on the received account information and to conduct the distribution interaction session between the first user and a second user.
Continuing a media access control security (MACsec) key agreement (MKA) session upon a network device becoming temporarily unavailable
A network device may communicate with another network device via a media access control security (MACsec) key agreement (MKA) communication link, wherein an MKA session has been established between the network device and the other network device. The network device may determine that the other network device is unavailable. The network device may cause, based on determining that the other network device is unavailable, an MKA state of the network device to be placed in a paused state. The network device may receive, after causing the MKA state of the network device to be placed in the paused state, a packet from the other network device via the MKA communication link. The network device may determine, based on the packet, that the MKA session has not ended. The network device may continue, based on the MKA session having not ended, the MKA session by reactivating the MKA state.
DYNAMIC SECURITY MODULE TERMINAL DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME

The dynamic security module terminal device includes a communication unit configured to transmit and receive a security management event over a network, and a processor configured to control the communication unit. The processor is configured to create a security session with a security server, and to receive the dynamic security module from the security server so that part or all of code of the dynamic security module performing security management has a predetermined valid period.
