SHARING SECRETS OVER ONE OR MORE COMPUTER NETWORKS USING PROXIES
20240223402 · 2024-07-04 ·

Techniques for sharing secrets over one or more computer networks using proxies are provided. In one technique, a proxy server receives, from a client device, over a computer network, a request for a secret. In response to receive the request, the proxy server causes a tunnel to be created with a resource server that is separate from the client device, retrieves the secret from a secrets repository, and causes the secret to be transmitted through the tunnel to the resource server.

Anti-spam transient entity classification

Embodiments are directed towards multi-level entity classification. An object associated with an entity is received. In one embodiment the object comprises and email and the entity comprises the IP address of a sending email server. If the entity has already been classified, as indicated by an entity classification cache, then a corresponding action is taken on the object. However, if the entity has not been classified, the entity is submitted to a fast classifier for classification. A feature collector concurrently fetches available features, including fast features and full features. The fast classifier classifies the entity based on the fast features, storing the result in the entity classification cache. Subsequent objects associated with the entity are processed based on the cached result of the fast classifier. Then, a full classifier classifies the entity based on at least the full features, storing the result in the entity classification cache.

Method for streaming dynamic 5G AR/MR experience to 5G devices with updatable scenes

ARRANGEMENT AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE, METHOD FOR OPERATING A GATEWAY, GATEWAY, SHARED-USAGE TERTIARY INFRASTRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A PROGRAM LOGIC OF GATEWAY SOFTWARE
20240236716 · 2024-07-11 ·

An arrangement of a network infrastructure includes at least one network node, in particular a sensor, a consumption meter and/or an end device, and a gateway having at least one transceiver. The network node communicates with the gateway over a primary communication path. The transceiver is configured to communicate by transmission technology used by the network node. The gateway communicates with at least one head end system over tertiary communication paths. A shared-usage tertiary infrastructure is intended for the tertiary communication paths. The tertiary infrastructure is intended to provide central network services. The shared-usage tertiary infrastructure provides specific network services for the transmission technologies in the primary communication path. A method for operating a network infrastructure, a method for operating a gateway, a gateway, a shared-usage tertiary infrastructure, and a method for applying the program logic of the gateway software, are also provided.

Encoded URI references in restful requests to facilitate proxy aggregation

A RESTful API suitable for distributed management tasks implements an aggregator that receives a client request including a URI corresponding to a requested service. The aggregator generates and forwards a proxy request, requesting the same requested service from multiple aggregated resources associated with the aggregator. The aggregator includes, in each proxy request, prefix information that may be used by the aggregated resource to create encoded information that is included in a proxy request response. The aggregator receives the proxy request responses, including the encoded information, and forwards them to the client. The client may then generate a subsequent request for additional information about a resource or service on any one of the aggregated resources. The subsequent request conveys the encoded information to the aggregator, which may then decode the information to identify the appropriate aggregated resource for the request.

Data transmission method and system, and proxy device

Embodiments of the present invention provide a data transmission method and system, and a proxy device. The transmission method includes: establishing a TCP connection between a client and an Internet server, where a proxy device interacts with the client in a wireless manner, and the proxy device interacts with the Internet server in a wired manner; and obtaining, by the proxy device, a start serial number and a reply serial number in a corresponding direction and completing data forwarding between the client and the Internet server based on this without respectively establishing an independent TCP connection with the client or the Internet server, so that the quality of service of a wireless network is not affected.

IP ADDRESS ALLOCATION METHOD FOR MASTER-SLAVE NETWORK, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
20180287993 · 2018-10-04 ·

The present invention provides an IP address allocation method for a master-slave network, an apparatus, and a system. A master device generates an IP address sub-segment group, and separately sends at least one IP address sub-segment in the IP address sub-segment group to at least one slave device, so that the slave device can use a received IP address sub-segment as a DHCP server address and allocate an IP address to a user device. In this way, the slave device can directly allocate the IP address to the user device, so that an IP address allocation time is reduced.

System and method for converting RTMP stream into HLS format for livestream

Present disclosure relates to system and method for converting RTMP stream into HLS format for live stream. The solution architecture can include three main components: a Publisher, a Streamer and an API server. The publisher manages incoming RTMP streams and converts RTMP stream into multiple (resolutions) HLS streams with an adaptive bit rate. The streamer manages end users consuming HLS feed. As publisher can be busy doing transcoding, the streamer can serve HLS format to an end user. At streamer level, caching is done instead of sending all requests to publisher. The API server manages load on the publishers and the streamers, and makes sure that the servers are available all the time. Live stream API server keeps record of the streams which are available as well as the corresponding publishers having the streams.
