Method for configuring a monitoring system used to monitor industrial processes and industrial assets
The invention relates to a method for configuring a monitoring system for monitoring industrial processes and industrial assets. The method comprising, the monitoring system: receiving data associated with operation of industrial plants in native data format, adapting a common predefined data model to organize the data to convert in a common structured data format for use by application functions, receiving a request for data processing, generating a graphical view of the industrial process; identifying specific industrial processes and assets relating to the request of data processing and generating the graphical view; processing of specific data according to data processing request and generating a first graphical view associated for the specific data and associated identifiers according to a preconfigured first view configuration, generating a second graphical view from the first graphical view by incorporating a new view configurations onto the first view configuration based on result of data processing.

SERVER-CLIENT ARCHITECTURE IN DIGITAL PATHOLOGY
According to an aspect of the invention, a client-server-system is provided. The client and the server are provided with the same digital image of a slice of a biological material, which has been applied with a staining substance. Usually, the server comprises a large processing power. Accordingly, the server is used for pre-processing the digital image and provides results of the pre-processing to the client in turn of a request. The server comprises a server processing unit, which is configured to classify each pixel of the digital image, wherein the pixel is classified as stained, in case a color-property of the pixel characterizes a spot corresponding to the pixel at the slice as being stained with the staining substance, whereas the slice has absorbed the staining substance at the respective spot. Thus, all pixels of the digital image are classified. A sub-set of all pixels is classified as being stained. The remaining pixels may be classified undefined, unstained or stained with a different substance. The server processing unit can be configured to classify the remaining pixels respectively. Further, the server is configured to store the classification results. A client processing unit of the client is configured to determine the region of interest at the digital image, which has been provided to the client, too. Thus, the client is configured to request data related to the classification of the pixels at the region of interest at the server. The server has pre-processed the classification of the digital image and/or further data based thereon and is thus initially prepared to provide the data related to the classification of the pixels at the region of interest to the client. Accordingly, the server can provide the classification results related to the classification of the pixels at the region of interest at the digital image to the client. The client can display the received classification results, preferably with a display of a user interface of the client. Consequently, the user can see with a short time delay, whether pixels at the region of interest of the digital image are classified as stained or not.
Methods and apparatus to schedule service requests in a network computing system using hardware queue managers
Example edge gateway circuitry to schedule service requests in a network computing system includes: gateway-level hardware queue manager circuitry to: parse the service requests based on service parameters in the service requests; and schedule the service requests in a queue based on the service parameters, the service requests received from client devices; and hardware queue manager communication interface circuitry to send ones of the service requests from the queue to rack-level hardware queue manager circuitry in a physical rack, the ones of the service requests corresponding to functions as a service provided by resources in the physical rack.

Server infrastructure for digital plaque displaying certificates, updates and status
A digital plaque displays one of several stored certificates and can also retrieve updates to a displayed certificate when needed. The digital plaque is used to display a certificate and associated information. Typically the certificate displayed is one of an award, a recognition, a score card, a picture, a transcript, a document, a sales deed, a ticket, a poster, a document cover, a book cover, a patent application, a granted patent and a graduation record. A collection of such certificates is stored in memory and displayed when selected by a user. Status information and supporting documents associated with the selected certificate is automatically retrieved from a remote server and portions of the retrieved information is also displayed.
USER EQUIPMENT CONTAINERS AND NETWORK SLICES
A communication device comprises a container environment with a plurality of containers each having one or more applications and each being connectable to a network slice, and a container manager configured to control communication between the applications and the network slices, wherein the container manager prohibits communication between a first application in a first container and a second application in a second container.
Apparatus and method for client-side flow control in a remote access environment
A client-side flow control mechanism for controlling the flow of messages communicated from a service to a client in a remote access system. The service, which may be a managed or unmanaged service, may communicate messages to the client where the messages include a service sequence ID (SSI). As the client processes the messages from the service, the client responds with a client sequence ID (CSI). The SSI and CSI values determine the number of messages that are in transmission queues. The service compares a difference between the current SSI and CSI to a stop window value. If the difference is greater than the stop window value, transmission of messages from the service to the client is turned OFF. The client continues to send CSI acknowledgments as it processes messages. Once the difference falls below a start window value, the transmission of messages to the client is turned ON.
Font loading system and method
Disclosed herein is a system and related method for downloading fonts associated with a document in a client-server architecture. On a client side the client is: receiving some of the document to reproduce; retrieving fonts needed to display a page of the document on the client device by: requesting a font loader to load a requested font; determining if the font is loaded by: determining a valid test character of the font that is a viewable character; attempting to draw the test character in a small portion of a display screen of the client device; recording a width of the drawn character; determining that the test character was written in the requested font if its character width is not equal to zero; and determining that the test character was written in a fallback font if its character width is equal to zero.
System and method for integrating a transactional middleware platform with a centralized audit framework
In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for integrating a transactional middleware platform with a centralized audit framework for a SOA middleware platform. An audit provider in the centralized audit framework can be provided as a plug-in module to the transactional middleware platform, and registered as an internal audit service therein. The internal audit service can be advertised on an audit server, and can process audit requests from within the transactional middleware platform. One or more configuration files can be provided to the audit provider, for use in generating audit data for audit events occurring in one or more components in the transactional middleware platform. The audit provider itself can be configured to represent an audit aware component within the centralized audit framework, thereby utilizing a plurality of functionalities available in the centralized audit framework, including saving the audit data in a central data store.
