System and method for client policy assignment in a data storage system
A system and method for property assignment in a data storage system is presented. A data storage system defines a client configuration profile comprising a set of storage operation properties, wherein the storage operation properties regulate criteria for performing storage operations by the data agent on client devices that are associated with the client configuration profile. A storage management system associates a first client device to the client configuration profile; and communicates the set of properties of the client configuration profile to property tables of corresponding objects in the first client device.
Extending RESTful Web Service Resources in a JAVA-Component-Driven-Architecture Application
A system and method are disclosed for an application server having one or more web application archives and one or more endpoints, determining whether a functionality of one or more endpoints is to be changed, and responsive to the determination of whether an endpoint of the one or more endpoints is to be changed, determining a link to a functionality component located external to the one or more web application archive that is to replace the functionality of the endpoint, and causing the external functionality component to link to the endpoint.
Systems and methods for delivering radio applications to reconfigurable radio equipment
Methods, systems, and storage media for delivering radio applications to reconfigurable radio equipment (RE) for installation and implementation are described. In embodiments, an RE may transmit a request for a radio application (RA) to a RadioApp Store. The RE may receive the requested RA from the RadioApp Store when the RA is verified as being compatible with the RE and when implementation of the RA by the RE is authorized by a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) associated with the RE and/or the RA. The RE may install the RA when the DoC authorizes installation of the RA based on one or more other RAs implemented by the RE. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
Action based on advertisement indicator in network packet
Examples disclosed herein relate to performing an action based on an advertisement indicator is present in a network packet. In one example, a network packet identified by a network infrastructure device as matching criteria associated with a pre-identified request is received. A parameter within the network packet is identified. A rule is used to determine whether the parameter indicates that an advertisement indicator is present in a flow associated with the network packet. An action is performed based on whether the advertisement indicator is present in the network packet.
Systems and methods for adaptive industrial internet of things (IIoT) edge platform
Computer-implemented methods for configuring an Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) edge node in an IIoT network to perform one or more functions, comprising: performing a situation analysis to determine a required change in one or more of an analytical model, a runtime component, and a functional block of the IIoT edge node based on a change in the one or more functions; and automatically provisioning a new or updated functional module to the IIoT edge node, based on the situation analysis, the new or updated functional module including one or more components, wherein each component includes at least one of a rules set, a complex domain expression with respect to a process industry, an analytical model, and a protocol decoder.
Method and apparatus for functional improvements to moving picture experts group network based media processing
A method of processing media content in Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) Network Based Media Processing (NBMP) includes obtaining, from a function repository storing one or more functions for processing the media content, at least one among the one or more functions, each of the at least one among the one or more functions having a function descriptor indicating, for a respective one among the one or more functions, a maximum throughput, a minimum buffer size, a maximum size of metadata and a maximum frequency between two instances of the metadata, and obtaining a task for processing the media content, based on the obtained at least one among the one or more functions, the task having a task descriptor indicating, for the task, a maximum throughput, a minimum buffer size, a maximum size of metadata and a maximum frequency between two instances of the metadata.
System and method for identifying capabilities and limitations of an orchestration based application integration
In accordance with an embodiment, described herein are systems and methods identifying capabilities and limitations of an orchestration based application integration. The systems and methods described herein can detect and publish/expose such a set of limitations and capabilities of the adapters/connectors to the integration platform. In this way, such metadata can be used, for example, by a user of an integration system in designing an integration of applications, or in selecting an orchestration, based upon, e.g., the published metadata that indicates the capabilities of the individual adapters/connectors, or the orchestration as a whole (or parts thereof). This way, once an orchestration is active for processing requests, then it can also publish a metadata considering the metadata of involved adapters. This metadata can be used in adjusting requests to an integration.
Tracking application programming interface requests in a cloud computing system
Techniques are provided for tracking application programming interface (API) requests in a cloud computing environment. For example, a method for tracking API requests is implemented by an API gateway. The API gateway receives an API request which comprises a given API endpoint to access a target service of a computing system. The API gateway determines if the received API request is valid. In response to determining that the received API request is valid, the API gateway accesses at least one API counter associated with the given API endpoint of the received API request, wherein the at least one API counter is configured to count a number of times that the given API endpoint is accessed. The API gateway increments a count of the at least one API counter by one, and the API gateway routes the API request to the target service for execution.
Cross environment update of cloud resource tags
A method for updating cloud resource tags is provided. The tag associated with a cloud resource may assign the cloud resource to one or more categories to enable tracking of the cloud resource. The method may include determining, based on a synchronization profile, the scope of the update. For example, the scope of the update may encompass individual resources, groups of resources, and/or subscriptions. A metadata data store may be queried to retrieve mapping rules corresponding to tags of resources from one or more cloud service providers that are within the scope of the update. If the value of a tag does not match the value specified by the corresponding mapping rule, the value of the tag may be updated to match the value specified by the mapping rule. Related systems and articles of manufacture, including computer program products, are also provided.
Automatic custom quality parameter-based deployment router
An example method of operation may include automatically receiving information from a storage area in response to a signal, which information may include test results for a computer product evaluated by a plurality of test stages. The method may also include retrieving deployment parameters for the computer product, determining whether the test results satisfy the deployment parameters for the computer product, and automatically authorizing deployment of the computer product based on whether the test results satisfy the deployment parameters.
