Remote control of a change data capture system

The present disclosure relates to a control system for remotely controlling a change data capture (CDC) system. The CDC system comprises a source computing system and target computing system. The target computing system is configured to store a copy of data of the source computing system. The source computing system and the target computing system are configured to execute coordinated actions using predefined agents in order identify a change to data of the source computing system and to propagate, and store the change to the target computing system. The control system is configured for dynamically installing User-Defined Functions, UDF functions, in the source and target systems in order to control the agents to perform the predefined actions.

Application of scheduled patches

A method for updating software in one or more servers in a managed system includes bootstrapping of shared secrets to secure communication, using an object store with publicly accessible URLs as a mailbox system between a patch agent locally at the managed system and a patch management server located remotely. The object store provides for indirect and asynchronous communication, allowing the patch management server to manage the updates, whereas the patch agent executes the updates. The patch management server keeps track of update results, and when an update is unsuccessful it performs and supports a remediation process. Both the patch agent and the patch management server keep full logs of the update results to allow for auditing.

Provisioning set of multi-tenant cloud applications with unified service

According to some embodiments, methods and systems may be associated with a cloud computing environment. A unified provisioning service may include a plan configuration data store that contains information associated with a combined service representing a plurality of multi-tenant cloud applications. A cloud platform provisioning framework may receive an indication of a subscription request for the combined service from a consumer via a Software as a Service (“SaaS”) marketplace and access, responsive to the received indication, a dependent service framework of the unified provisioning service. The cloud platform provisioning framework may then receive dependency subscription data from the unified provisioning service, and, based on the dependency subscription data, arrange for the consumer to be subscribed to each of the plurality of multi-tenant cloud applications.

Dynamic trigger of web beacons

Techniques are disclosed relating to methods that include receiving an indication of an access by a user to a web page that includes a beacon, and calculating a readiness score for triggering the beacon. The methods may also include determining, based on the readiness score, whether to perform a client-side or server-side triggering of the beacon. The triggering causes data associated with the access to be transmitted to a third-party computer system.

Method, apparatus and system for subscription management

Subscription management system and method provides real time subscription data dissemination to multiple computer devices of respective clients based on client subscriptions, using a UI message framework that decreases size and frequency of transmission of UI messages to service the subscriptions.

MOBILE DEVICE MANAGEMENT METHOD AND DEVICE

A mobile device management method includes: a first electronic device sends a request message including an identifier of at least one second electronic device to a first server. The first electronic device receives a DM service APP from the first server and installs the DM service APP. After the DM service APP is installed, the first electronic device can provide the MDM service. The first electronic device provides the MDM service for the second electronic device, to implement management and device system upgrade of the second electronic device.

APPLICATION INSTANCE DEPLOYMENT METHOD, APPLICATION INSTANCE SCHEDULING METHOD, AND APPARATUS
20220385586 · 2022-12-01 ·

In an example application instance deployment method, a global management platform receives quality of service (QoS) requirement information from a first client. The QoS requirement information includes a first delay requirement, a second delay requirement, and a first quantity of connections. The second delay requirement is better than the first delay requirement, and the QoS requirement information is entered by a first user to the first client. The global management platform selects a first available site that meets the first delay requirement from managed sites. The global management platform deploys one or more first application instances on the first available site. A quantity of connections that can be established to the first application instance is less than the first quantity of connections.

RAPID SOFTWARE PROVISIONING AND PATCHING

Disclosed is an approach to implement an architecture and methodology that allows rapid access to provisioned software without requiring the entirety of the software distribution to be transferred to the target system in an upfront manner. Instead, a multi-tier architecture is used that allows the software to be provisioned and accessed with efficient access and reads of distribution materials from one or more remote storage locations.

DYNAMICALLY SCALING CONTROL PLANE FOR INGRESS SERVICES FOR LARGE NUMBERS OF APPLICATIONS WITH MINIMAL TRAFFIC DISRUPTION
20220385733 · 2022-12-01 ·

Dynamically scaling control plane for ingress services for large numbers of applications with minimal traffic disruption includes receiving an estimate of a number of applications to be executed by multiple clusters implemented by an orchestrator platform. Each cluster includes multiple containers. The multiple clusters implement a centralized controller that control execution of the applications by the multiple clusters. The centralized controller is sharded into a variable number of controllers that collectively control the estimated number of applications based on the estimate of the number of applications and a pre-determined number of applications that each controller can control. Each controller of the variable number of controllers controls an execution of a respective subset of the applications. In response to a change in the number of applications over time, the number of controllers is modified based on a number of applications to be executed by the multiple clusters at any given time.
