SPLIT TRIGGERS FOR EXECUTING COMPUTER OPERATIONS
One or more computer operations are triggered and executed when multiple sets of conditions that define a split trigger and that are evaluated at multiple locations are satisfied. The operations may involve allocating or deallocating computing resources (e.g., by establishing or tearing down a persistent connection), generating a message to be displayed on a computing device, altering stored data, and/or other activity. In an illustrative client/server computing environment, a first set of client conditions of a first split trigger is evaluated at a client device, using parameters observable at the client without interaction with a server. When the first of client conditions is satisfied, the client transmits a signal to a server that then evaluates a first set of server conditions of the first split trigger. If the first sets of client conditions and server conditions are satisfied, the computer operation(s) associated with the split trigger are executed.
REMOTELY HEALING CRASHED PROCESSES
A method of repairing crashed applications includes detecting a crash in an application operating in a host computing device. The application is migrated to a remote computer server. The remote computer server provisions computing resources to the application, while the application is resident in the remote computer server. Resumed operation of the application is executed, using the provisioned computing resources, in the remote computer server. Execution results are generated from the application, in the remote computer server. The generated execution results are migrated from the application back to the host computing device.
DATA REQUEST SERVER CODE AND CONFIGURATION FILE DEPLOYMENT
A server includes a network interface for connecting to a computer network and a processor configured to receive a query for data, use a configuration file to identify a data source on the computer network for resolving the query and return the data requested in the query. The processor also determines that the configuration file has been modified, retrieves a modified configuration file from the computer network, receives a second query for data, and uses the modified configuration file to identify a data source on the computer network for resolving the second query.
Distributed configuration management in application control networks
The invention relates to a device, system and method for controlling application components in an application control network (300) comprising at least a first network component (110, 180, 301) connected to a first data port of a first data forwarding device (102, 110, 180) of the application control network. A configuration profile for the at least one network component (110, 180, 301) is determined in accordance with an application plan comprising timing and interaction information of the application components within the application control network. The configuration profile is transmitted to a network component (102, 110, 180) communicatively close to the at least first network component, in particular the data forwarding device the first network component is attached to, for storage and for subsequent transmission to the first network component (110, 180, 301) after the first network component (110, 180, 301, L1-L3) has been rebooted.
Method and terminal device for managing application snippet
A method for managing an application snippet includes: obtaining a first application snippet (S210); determining first classification information of the first application snippet (S220); determining that classification information of a first composite application on the terminal device matches the first classification information (S230); and adding the first application snippet to the first composite application (S240). According to the method for managing an application snippet, a large quantity of application snippets can be effectively managed.
Systems and methods for automated governance, risk, and compliance
Systems and methods for configuration vulnerability checking and remediation are provided. The systems provided herein identify risk based upon service indications of a particular configuration, such that automated risk analysis may be facilitated.
Systems and methods related to resource distribution for a fleet of machines
Systems and methods related to resource distribution for a fleet of machines are disclosed. A system may include a fleet of machines each having an associated resource capacity and a resource requirement to perform a task. The system may further include a controller having a resource requirement circuit to determine an aggregated amount of the resource requirement and an aggregated amount of the resource capacity. A resource distribution circuit may adaptively improve, in response to an aggregated amount of the resource capacity, an aggregated resource delivery of the resource.
Methods and systems for a self-provisioning device
In an aspect, the present disclosure includes a method, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable medium for wireless communications for initiating, by a provisioning system, a provisioning procedure to configure and update a device that initiates an initial connection to a wireless network based on a unique identifier of the device; and establishing, by the provisioning system, a secure socket with the device based on the provisioning procedure.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEPLOYMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF COMPOSITE APPLICATIONS
A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a deployment and management of composite application service is provided. The service may allow a third party to develop and on-board logic that manages an application service hosted in an application layer network of a network provider. The logic may include optimization of the application service and remedial procedures that address events associated with degradation and/or performance of the application service. The service may configure resources of a host device to host the logic and expose services provided by the network provider in support of the management of the application service.
Web services having live data updates
A method, apparatus, and computer program product for communicating real-time updates among web clients. A structured data object is composed from a set of data nodes according to a domain specific language in response to requesting access to a data within a human resources database. The structured data object is interpreted within a context of a record ID/form to identify content for the web page and to determine whether real-time updates are enabled for the web page. Interpreting the structured data object, displays the form with the content. An event queue is created and a connection to the server hub is established when real-time updates are enabled. In response to receiving an update event in the event queue, a notification of the update event is displayed when the update event matches the record ID/form that a first user has opened.
