In-app lead nurturing within an electronic document
The present disclosure relates to a cloud-based system including a server for generating and nurturing leads using within-a document lead nurturing. The server enables a marketer to generate initial content and contextual content, specify a consumption condition with respect to the initial content, and generate an electronic file including the initial content and executable code configured to monitor consumption of the initial content. A user (e.g., possible lead) uses a reader program of their device to open the electronic file, which presents the initial content and triggers execution of an instruction of the executable code to monitor interactions of the user with the initial content to determine whether the consumption condition has been satisfied. The reader program executes another instruction of the executable code to present the contextual content and notify the server that the user is a possible lead, when the consumption condition is satisfied.
Management and operation of loosely coupled internet of things devices
A loose coupling between Internet of Things (“IoT”) devices and environmental sensors is generated. Once the loose coupling has been generated, conditions in a physical environment can be managed utilizing the loosely coupled devices. For example, a hybrid machine learning/expert system can be utilized to activate the IoT devices in an environment to achieve a desired condition in an optimized manner.
Method for adaptive context length control for on-line edge learning
A method of operating a network comprising an edge node and a server. The method comprises obtaining, by the edge node, a plurality of data samples, determining, by the edge node, a plurality of output labels by applying a first machine learning model using an input memory having a first input memory size to the plurality of data samples, calculating, by the edge node, an error term based on the confidence score of a first output label from the plurality of output labels, determining, by the edge node, based on the error term, whether to modify the first input memory size of the machine learning model and, if so, generating a second machine learning model based on the first machine learning model and a second input memory size.
Vehicle control apparatus
When a required download time is equal to or shorter than a communication-enabled time on a running route, an update program is received from an external device via wireless communication, so a vehicular program is appropriately updated. Besides, when the required download time is longer than the communication-enabled time on the running route, a driving method ensuring the communication-enabled time that is equal to or longer than the required download time is suggested to a driver, so the update program is easy to receive via wireless communication. In consequence, the opportunities to update the vehicular program can be ensured. That is, the vehicular program can be restrained or prevented from being updated with a delay.
Gateway action framework
Disclosed are various examples of an action framework for configuring a gateway to perform actions on the gateway itself or in conjunction with connected IoT devices. In some examples, a command is transmitted from a management service to a gateway device to permit a gateway client application to execute on the gateway device. A command to register an action in association with the gateway client application is also transmitted. The management service then commands the gateway device to perform the action, and receives an action results message with information about the action.
Extended 3rd generation partnership project (3GPP) framework for live uplink streaming (FLUS) sink capabilities description
A method, computer program, computer system, and device is provided for determining 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Framework for Live Uplink Streaming (FLUS) sink capabilities. The method may include obtaining, by a FLUS source, a sink resource associated with a FLUS sink, wherein the sink resource indicates a direct address at which a capability described in the sink resource can be directly accessed; and accessing the capability directly by the FLUS source using the direct address.
Preemptive TCP connections to reduce latency for proxies
In some embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: receiving, at a proxy server, a plurality of active communications connection counts of a plurality of active communications connections that were active within a time period; determining a top count of active communications connections selected from the plurality of active communications connection counts; for each count of the top counts of active communications connections: determining a relative percentage of pre-connected communications connections, having a particular connection type and included in the count, to be pre-connected by the proxy server and available; determining whether the relative percentage of the pre-connected communications connections of the particular connection type is already pre-connected by the proxy server and is available; and if not, pre-connecting one or more particular communications connections of the particular connection type until the relative percentage of the pre-connected communications connections of the particular connection type is pre-connected and available.
Systems and methods for configuring application software
According to some embodiments, a method includes: receiving, by a computing device, data about one or more applications associated with users of a group, the group being one in which to share information amongst the users; identifying, by the computing device, an application common to at least a subset of users of the group based on the received data; and providing, by the computing device, settings to a client device of another user outside the subset of users, the client device to apply the settings to enable the another user to access the application in common with use of the client device.
Systems and methods for facilitating a multi-modal transportation service
Systems and methods for facilitating a multi-modal transportation service are provided. The method includes obtaining a request for an aerial transport from a user via user device and generating a multi-modal transportation itinerary for the user to facilitate the aerial transport of the user. The method includes determining a state change indicative of the progress of the user through the transportation service and adjusting an aerial software application running on an aerial device associated with an aerial service provider based on the state change. The method includes determining a subsequent state change occurring after the state change, determining a ground vehicle to provide a ground transportation for the user during another leg of the multi-modal transportation service based on the subsequent state, and adjusting a ground software application running on a ground device associated with the ground vehicle service provider based on the subsequent state change.
Sharing image installation image streams
A technique includes a first compute node of a cluster of nodes receiving a communication from a cluster maintenance node of the cluster instructing the first compute node to provide an installation image that is received by the first compute node to a second compute node of the cluster. The first node and the second node are peers. The technique includes sharing the first installation stream that communicates the image to the first compute node. Sharing the first installation stream includes, while the first compute node is receiving the first installation stream, the first compute node providing a second installation stream to communicate parts of the image received via the first installation stream to the second compute node.
