Gaming Device Docking Station for Authorized Game Play
In one embodiment, a system to authorize a mobile electronic device to play games of chance includes a gaming system manager and a docking station. The docking station can be configured to: (i) detect whether the mobile electronic device is connected to a receiver of the docking station; (ii) receive device information from the mobile electronic device if it is detected that the mobile electronic device is connected to the receiver; (iii) determine whether a game of chance can be played on the mobile electronic device based on the received device information; (iv) authorize the mobile electronic device to play the game of chance; and (v) transmit gaming data to the mobile electronic device if it is determined that the game of chance can be played on the mobile electronic device and if the mobile electronic device is authorized.
PUBLISHING CUSTOMIZED APPLICATION MODULES
In some implementations, a user interface for designing a health management module is provided by a server system. The user interface identifies a plurality of health management templates. The server system initially receives data indicating a user input received through the user interface that selects one of the plurality of module templates. The server system also receives customization parameters that customize the selected module template for a particular organization. The server system then generates a customized health management module for the particular organization based on the selected template and the customization parameters. The server system finally publishes the customized health management module for the particular organization that includes instructions configuring an application provided by a third-party application store.
METHOD FOR SHARING APPS, TERMINAL, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method and an apparatus for sharing an App, an electronic device and a storage medium are provided. The method includes in response to detecting a preset trigger operation for an App, displaying associated regions for associated devices; in response to a selecting operation for any of the associated regions, determining an associated device corresponding to the any of the associated regions as a target device; and sending interface display data of the App to the target device, so that the target device displays a program interface of the App based on the received interface display data.
NON-HTTP LAYER 7 PROTOCOL APPLICATIONS RUNNING IN THE BROWSER
A server receives from a browser executing on a client device an HTTP request. The server transmits a response to the HTTP request to the browser. The response includes code that when executed by the browser, executes a non-HTTP layer 7 protocol client that communicates with a non-HTTP layer 7 protocol service at an external network. The server receives, from the non-HTTP layer 7 protocol client executing in the browser, data related to the non-HTTP layer 7 protocol service. The server proxies the data related to the non-HTTP layer 7 protocol service over a layer 4 tunnel that is interfaced with the non-HTTP layer 7 protocol service. The server logs event data received from the non-HTTP layer 7 protocol client executing in the browser.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEPLOYMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF COMPOSITE APPLICATIONS
A method, a device, and a non-transitory storage medium are described in which a deployment and management of composite application service is provided. The service may allow a third party to develop and on-board logic that manages an application service hosted in an application layer network of a network provider. The logic may include optimization of the application service and remedial procedures that address events associated with degradation and/or performance of the application service. The service may configure resources of a host device to host the logic and expose services provided by the network provider in support of the management of the application service.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING A TRANSACTION FROM A COMMUNICATIONS TERMINAL
A secure element integrated within a mobile communications terminal. Such an element includes: at least one first application for processing transactions, having at least one interface for communications with a communications network in a secured manner; and at least one second application for processing secured data, having at least one communications interface for communications with an executing environment of said communications terminal. The first application is able to request at least one piece of data from the second application.
PROVENANCE AUDIT TRAILS FOR MICROSERVICES ARCHITECTURES
An apparatus to facilitate provenance audit trails for microservices architectures is disclosed. The apparatus includes one or more processors to: obtain, by a microservice of a service hosted in a datacenter, provisioned credentials for the microservice based on an attestation protocol; generate, for a task performed by the microservice, provenance metadata for the task, the provenance metadata including identification of the microservice, operating state of at least one of a hardware resource or a software resource used to execute the microservice and the task, and operating state of a sidecar of the microservice during the task; encrypt the provenance metadata with the provisioned credentials for the microservice; and record the encrypted provenance metadata in a local blockchain of provenance metadata maintained for the hardware resource executing the task and the microservice.
APPLICATION CONTEXT RELOCATION IN EDGE APPLICATIONS
Examples of the disclosure relate to application context relocation (ACR) for edge application data sessions in a communication system. One example method is applied to an edge enabler server (EES). The example method includes receiving an ACR status update from an edge application server (EAS), the ACR status update being associated with an edge application data session between an application client (AC) and the EAS. One or more ACR scenarios is selected for the edge application data session when the ACR status update indicates that the ACR is successful.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING VEHICLE IN MULTIPLE VEHICLE-TO-EVERYTHING (V2X) REGIONS
Based upon the current position of a vehicle, a processor determines which V2X communication standard to use. If a change from a current V2X protocol being used to a new protocol (required because of the location of the vehicle) is determined, software for the new protocol is loaded to re-configure the processor or other electronic devices in the VCU or elsewhere in the vehicle.
UPDATING PARAMETERS IN A MESH NETWORK
A method including communicating, by a first device with a second device, data over a meshnet connection in a mesh network; selectively transmitting, by the first device in the mesh network, a request to determine a communication parameter associated with the first device, the selectively transmitting including refraining from transmitting the request based at least in part on determining that a condition associated with transmitting the request is satisfied. Various other aspects are contemplated.
