A system and method for enhancing searching capabilities is disclosed. The system and method can receive an image and metadata associated with the image. An intensity map of a grayscale vector may be generated corresponding to the image. An HTML code snippet may be placed at a coordinate location within the image and a browsing activity associated with the image may be detected. The HTML code snippet may be activated in response to detecting the browsing activity at a coordinate location. An interactive page may be rendered on a user interface, the interactive page including the image and the metadata associated with the image. The code snippet output may be correlated with the metadata to generate image browsing track data. A user browsing profile may be generated including the image browsing track data.
AUDIENCE IDENTIFICATION AND INTEREST DETERMINATION FROM TARGETED TOPICAL ACTIVITY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system for building sets of user devices communicatively connected to a communications network, having a common or related topical interest in items available via communications over the network by the user devices with an item server. The user devices, respectively, have respective network identifiers and each exhibits related topical activity of particular articles in a subnetwork of the communications network, for example, in a social communications network. A server communicatively connected to the subnetwork detects communicative interactions over the subnetwork of the user devices with the particular articles. The system includes a collector communicatively connected to the communications network for obtaining a group of articles from the server, an identifier communicatively connected to the collector, the identifier determines the particular articles as a subset of the group of articles, a query device communicatively connected to the identifier and the communications network, the query device communicates over the communications network with the subnetwork obtaining the respective network identifiers of the user devices, respectively, interactive with the particular articles through communications over the communications network, a generator communicatively connected to the query device, the generator derives a tag corresponding to the particular articles, and a reporter is communicatively connected to the generator for delivering the respective network identifiers of the user devices, respectively, interactive with the particular articles and the tag. A topical collection of articles serves as a proxy to communications devices having particular interests for use in targeted advertising.
System and method for providing recommendations based on synchronous activity
A system includes a processor and an interface. The processor determines that a first user takes a first action and a second user takes a second action, where the time period between the first action and the second action is less than a threshold. In response, the processor causes the system to transmit at least one of a suggestion associated with the first user for display to the second user or a suggestion associated with the second user for display to the first user. In response to the processor causing to transmit the suggestion associated with the second user, the interface receives an indication that the first user approves of the suggestion associated with the second user. In response to the processor causing to transmit the suggestion associated with the first user, the interface receives an indication that the second user approves of the suggestion associated with the first user.
Infinite call loop prevention system
Systems and methods of identifying infinite call loops using custom tracking headers are provided. In one exemplary embodiment, a method is performed by a first instance of a microservice operated by a first network node in a distributed microservice system having instances of one or more microservices operated by network nodes with each instance having a data cache operable to share data between instances of that microservice. The method includes receiving an indication that includes a message to access data that may be available in a data cache of an instance of the microservice, the indication also including one or more tracking identifiers with each tracking identifier corresponding to an instance of the microservice that successively sends or receives the message so as to determine that the message corresponds to a same message previously sent or received by the same instance of the microservice.
System providing faster and more efficient data communication
A system designed for increasing network communication speed for users, while lowering network congestion for content owners and ISPs. The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The IP address of the server in the communication request is transmitted to the acceleration server, which provides a list of agents to use for this IP address. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid). The client then downloads the data from these peers in parts and in parallel, thereby speeding up the Web transfer, releasing congestion from the Web by fetching the information from multiple sources, and relieving traffic from Web servers by offloading the data transfers from them to nearby peers.
Virtual assistant providing enhanced communication session services
Methods for providing enhanced services to users participating in communication sessions (CS), via a virtual assistant, are disclosed. One method receives content that is exchanged by users participating in the CS. The content includes natural language expressions that encode a conversation carried out by users. The method determines content features based on natural language models. The content features indicate intended semantics of the natural language expressions. The method determines a relevance of the content and identifies portions of the content that are likely relevant to the user. Determining the relevance is based on the content features, a context of the CS, a user-interest model, and a content-relevance model of the natural language models. Identifying the likely relevant content is based on the determined relevance of the content and a relevance threshold. A summary of the CS is automatically generated from summarized versions of the likely relevant portions of the content.
Analyzing user behavior patterns to detect compromised nodes in an enterprise network
Systems and methods for analyzing user behavior patterns to detect compromised computing devices in an enterprise network are provided. According to one embodiment, an enforcement engine running on a network security device, identifies top users of a network exhibiting a suspicious behavior relating to login failures by determining a first set of users having a number of login failure events during a given time duration exceeding a threshold. The enforcement engine identifies from the first set of computers associated with the top users, a second set of computers exhibiting a suspicious behavior relating to new connections exceeding a threshold. The enforcement engine classifies a third set of computers, representing a subset of the second set exhibiting a suspicious behavior relating to consecutive new connections, as compromised source computers when their respective new connections are in a sequence that results in a Shannon entropy measure exceeding a threshold.

Systems as described herein may include generating an aggregated service status report for a real-time service delivery platform. A plurality of services running in a service domain may be determined. A request for a status of system behavior corresponding to a particular service may be received. Service connection details of the particular service may be discovered and metric data of real-time data movement may be tracked. Real-time snapshot aggregation of the particular service may be provided. In a variety of embodiments, a real-time system behavior report for the service across availability zones may be presented.
