Method and system for caching medical images based on examination priority

Systems and methods for expediting medical image retrieval based on examination priority are provided. A method includes receiving medical images and parsing the contents to determine medical image information. The method includes applying priority rules based on the medical image information. The priority rules specify an image storage location for storing the medical images. The image storage locations include workstation cache memory and drives of a local storage system having different image access speeds that are slower than an access speed of the workstation cache memory. The method includes storing the medical images at the specified image storage location as defined by the priority rules and retrieving the medical images from the specified image storage location in response to a request to view the medical images at a workstation. The method includes presenting the medical images retrieved from the specified image storage location at a display device of the workstation.

Obfuscating cryptographic material in memory
11604740 · 2023-03-14 · ·

Methods and systems disclosed herein describe obfuscating plaintext cryptographic material stored in memory. A random location in an obfuscation buffer may be selected for each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material. The location of each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material may be stored in a position tracking buffer. To recover the scrambled plaintext cryptographic material, the location of each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material may be read from the position tracking buffer. Each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material may then be read from the obfuscation buffer and written to a temporary buffer. When each byte of the plaintext cryptographic material is recovered, the plaintext cryptographic material may be used to perform one or more cryptographic operations. The scrambling techniques described herein reduce the likelihood of a malicious user recovering plaintext cryptographic material while stored in memory.

IN-SITU PASSIVE PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT IN A NETWORK ENVIRONMENT
20230076549 · 2023-03-09 ·

Techniques for in-situ passive performance measurement are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a data packet at a first network element, determining whether measurement information is to be collected for the data packet, providing one or more measurement fields for the data packet based on a determination that measurement information is to be collected for the data packet in which at least one measurement field identifies a measurement type, and forwarding the data packet to a second network element. The method further includes determining, by the second network element, the measurement type for the data packet, and performing one or more actions based on the measurement type.

Embodiments of the disclosure disclose a method for signal detection, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method includes: receiving a Bluetooth signal, obtaining a signal quality by performing signal detection on a preamble portion of the Bluetooth signal, and terminating signal detection on sync word portion or an access address portion of the Bluetooth signal on condition that the signal quality is not greater than a quality threshold.

Traffic mirroring
11627196 · 2023-04-11 · ·

A system and method for mirroring traffic data is described. A traffic proxy samples traffic data between a client device and a first web server. The traffic data comprises requests from the client device and corresponding responses from the first web server. The sampled traffic data is encoded and relayed to a second web server. The second web server comprises an updated version of a web service that is operating at the first web server. Responses from the first web server are compared with responses from the second web server based on the requests in the encoded sampled traffic data. The differences between the responses from the first web server and the second web server is stored.
