SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING A CLIENT CONNECTION
In a system with a plurality of servers serving one or more clients, situations may arise in which a client has a connection to a first server which is providing a service to the client, and in which it would be advantageous to transfer the connection to a second server, in a manner that does not require the re-establishing of the connection or the making of a renewed request, by the client, for the service. As such, a system and method for transferring a client connection from one server to another server are provided.
Screenshot validation testing
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for comparing screenshots of an application interface. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving test scenario parameters, wherein the parameters include a first screenshot of an application interface, one or more page objects associated with the first screenshot, generating a second screenshot of an updated application interface, identifying one or more page objects within the second screenshot based on a scope of each of the page objects associated with the first screenshot, comparing a section of the second screenshot to a section of the first screenshot that includes one or more page objects associated with the first screenshot that correspond to one or more page objects included in the section of the second screenshot, and determining whether the section of the second screenshot matches, within a predetermined tolerance level, the section of the first screenshot.
Systems and methods for online brand continuity
The present disclosure provides a system and method for online brand continuity. Online brand continuity can include a number of Internet or intranet access points via which one or more network addresses can be advertised. A client can be provided with availability of a business image application via at least one of the Internet or intranet access points.

Load balancing reset packets
A method of resetting a stateful connection in a storage cluster with stateless load-balancing is provided. The method includes receiving a packet associated with a stateful connection between a client and a first storage node of the storage cluster. The method includes sending a reset packet from a second storage node to the client, through a stateless load balancer, responsive to the second storage node failing to recognize the packet associated with the stateful connection between the client and the first storage node, wherein the client resets the stateful connection responsive to receiving the reset packet. The method includes sending further reset packets from the load balancer to a plurality of storage nodes of the storage cluster, responsive to receiving, at the load balancer, the reset packet from the second storage node, wherein the plurality of storage nodes reset stateful connection information responsive to receiving the further reset packets.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
An information processing apparatus includes, in an aspect, a communication port, a reading unit, a determination unit, a collecting unit, and a sending unit. When a communication cable is connected to the communication port, the reading unit reads a failure condition table and a collection item table from a storage unit provided in a communication cable. The determination unit determines whether the state of communication via the communication cable connected to the communication port satisfies the condition in the failure condition table. When the determination unit determines that the state of the communication via the communication cable connected to the communication port satisfies the condition, the collecting unit collects the information corresponding to the item in the collection item table. The sending unit sends the information collected by the collecting unit to a predetermined device.
Network function redundancy using binding header enhancements
A first network function (NF) instance sends a request for a session to a second NF instance. The first NF instance receives a response, from the second NF instance, that includes a binding header that includes a failover mode identifier, a designated number of retry attempts, and a retry mode. The first NF instance sends a second request for the session to the second NF instance. The first NF instance determines if an error or a timed out response has occurred subsequent to sending the second request to the second NF instance, and re-sends, in response to the error or timed out response, the second request based on the failover mode identifier, the designated number of retry attempts and the retry mode from the binding header.

CONNECTION REESTABLISHMENT PROTOCOL FOR PEER COMMUNICATION IN DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS
Communication resumption information can be retained nodes of a cluster of nodes that form a distributed computing system. The communication resumption information can be exchanged between a node of the cluster and a peer node of the cluster after resumption of communication following a loss of communication between the node and the peer node. A determination of whether communication between the node and the peer node can be reestablished without losing messages can include comparing the communication resumption information received by the node from the peer node with the communication resumption information retained at the node. Communication between the node and the peer node can be resumed based when the determining indicates that communication between the node and the peer node can be reestablished without losing messages.
HARDWARE ASSIST MECHANISMS FOR ALIVE DETECTION OF REDUNDANT DEVICES
An apparatus includes a first hardware assist device having at least one transmitter, at least one receiver, and a timer. The at least one transmitter is configured to transmit at least one first signal to a second hardware assist device of a redundant second apparatus. The at least one first signal indicates that the apparatus is functional. The at least one receiver is configured to receive at least one second signal from the second hardware assist device. The at least one second signal indicates that the second apparatus is functional. The timer is configured to control a driver to block transmission of the at least one first signal in response to a fault associated with the apparatus. The apparatus also includes at least one processing device configured to perform one or more actions in response to a loss of the at least one second signal from the second apparatus.
